I just installed the 4.08 Beta version to try, let's see how it works. The secondary PC is a standard laptop, an old-gen Intel i7 4710, with a built-in Gigabit LAN port, so nothing unusual here.

No need to restart both processes, just stopping the Seamless display on the primary (selecting this option 2 or 3 times), to really disable and stop the seamless display, then reselecting it will make everything work again for another couple of hours. My question is why. I am using the stable 4.07 version, not the beta.

Hey everyone, I've been using Multiplicity 4 Pro primarily for the Seamless Display feature, turning my old laptop into a second extended display for my desktop PC. Both are on the same Gigabit LAN switch via cable (laptop always on when desktop is), but it glitches out very frequently, at least once a day: the laptop suddenly shows its own empty desktop instead of the extended PC display. Moving the mouse to the laptop screen goes into a "hidden" invisible screen in between—cli

I have Multiplicity 4 Pro for a few months, bought on Steam, and it works just fine. Today I purchased a subscription for Object Desktop (to use Groupy and Fences), and after installing the Object Desktop downloader, my Multiplicity 4 installation reverted to the non-Pro version. I had to remove the downloader app, uninstall Multiplicity, purge it (with a batch script), and reinstall it fresh to make it work again. Any tips to make my Object Desktop recognize the Pro v

I tried a trial of Object Desktop and have been using a few of the apps. Now I decided that it was worth subscribing, but when I tried to do so, I saw a price of $19.99 with the text "for 1." Could you please clarify what "for 1" means? I plan to use Object Desktop on a couple of PCs—does "for 1" refer to a single license, or is it for a 5-license package?
You would need to be logged in on the secondary computer though.
Certainly, the KVM connection gets activated/enabled as soon as the 2nd PC turns on, allowing me to KVM mouse and keyboard to login. Having an extra function gets activated (seamless display) is not that different.
For now you can set a hotkey to connect up or use the right click tray menu to connect.
Thi

I upgraded from Multiplicity 3 to 4.0 Pro mainly for this feature: Seamless display, I have an old laptop always near my desktop PC and I stream my screen to it as a secondary display. Is there a way to make the Primary PC automatically start the Seamless Display feature when the secondary PC is turned on? Could be like an option on the secondary PC Multiplicity Client to automatically connect Seamless display when Primary PC is available. Hope this can be implemented.
Steam versions are not eligible for upgrade options at this time.
Why is that? I bought mine from Steam paying cash during sale (I can provide receipt), and not in a bundle. If I own a license of the program why does it matter from where is it? Hope you reconsider your policy, Thanks
