[quote who="Ravagus" reply="8" id="3323125"]From the information you've given I think you play Sins TOO much as an 4X game. You have to be a lot more aggressive and rush much earlier than in standard 4X games. In short don't waste much resources in defence if it's not a strategically important spot, research less and use resources mainly to pump out ships. A fleet is mobile and can be used both to defend and attack. Research the m

Here's my 6 step process for making this game fun for you again: #1 Get into the mods. I recommend Distant Stars, Maelstrom, and Seven Deadly Sins, and maybe the enhanced 4x mod. #2 Play diplomacy. It's far better balanced that rebellion with its retarded titans. #3 Increase game speed to fastest in setup menu (we do not mean making it 8x. Just mess with it when you start the game in the setup window.

Complaints against everyone, everywhere, and everything: #1 ZliMojsie, how does falling back ever help? for that matter, when would the VL player hit the frontline planet anyway? They would just go straight for your homeworld and by the time your own titan was ready to counter them they'll be gone. #2 [quote who="ZliMojsije" reply="39" id="3318519"] 1st choice is to ignore both Vorastra/SB...stay in fight and try to kill everything else...try to

Unless you're going full rush tactics, it's usually a better idea to try to pace your enemy to the extent that he cannot overwhelm you while building up your eco and teching to get game-changers such as titans and/or cannons. As TEC, you really need to have the eco to be able to exploit your upgrades the moment you get them. There's no use in researching kodiaks and not having the income to make seventy of them to overwhelm your enemy.

Yeah, diplo was sooooo much better. There was actual balance. Actually, my favorite thing ever was to play the maelstrom mod, go alliance, get a dyson swarm or sphere, then research the military tree, wait 4 hours, then go on a rampage with 6 super-dreadnaughts and their 132 fighter squadrons.

Easiest way is probably to run a comparison program between bailknights mod and the normal files, then take all of bailknights stuff and manually transfer it to a place where it will not affect multiplayer

Ryat? Being a little lazy there arent you? That's okay, me too... Culture bonuses usually include such things as increased shield regeneration and firing rate, among other things.
