It seems to be linked to update KB4054517. When I uninstall that update, everything works again.

Windows updated and immediately after fences started crashing explorer at random intervals. It almost always does it if you attempt to open the start menu (I use Start10). I am constantly getting the popup stating "Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly. As a precaution, Fences has been temporarily disabled." While this popup is up, the system acts normally. If I close it, Fences reactivates and crashes explorer again.

Another issue I found is that my desktop uses a polling rate of 1000 for my mouse which pegs the CPU at 24% for Multiplicity on the Tablet. Reducing it to 250 reduces the overhead to 4-6% on the tablet, but it very noticeable on my desktop. Is there any way to add polling reduction on the server side ... like a 2 or 4 : 1 reduction option so I don't have to adjust my desktop mouse polling for the same of multiplicity?

I use Multiplicity to control my docked tablet when I am at my office desk. I have it configured to use audio streaming which works great, but randomly it stops and I have to switch to the tablet and Ctrl+F12 twice to re-enable the audio stream. Both system are running Windows 10 Creators Update.

New Feature/Improvement Idea: I would like to anchor one fence to another so that when I roll one up a fence the anchored fences below it are pulled up to the rolled up fences title bar. New Feature/Improvement Idea: Indicator in fence title bar that shows that a new item was added to a fence. Have it clear when you click on the fence itself. This way if I have auto sort on and have my fences rolled up, I can see that something was added to a particular fence.

I like live tiles, but I can't stand the two choices we have been given to utilize them. Either we have to hide the tiles in our start menu, making them pointless, or they dominate the screen and hide our desktop (making everything else pointless). I would rather have the ability to place them on my desktop like we used to be able to place widgets in Windows Vista/XP. I would think that there would be a good market for this feature as it makes Tiles (Live or otherwise) viable for desktop

Also have 3.01 and the roll up feature is not working.

I'd just like to be able to disable the Escape to hide option. I don't mind double clicking on the desktop to hide my fences, but I really don't like single key bound macros.

There is a so-called 'leaked' screenshot of the start screen for Windows 9 that looks to be a hybrid of the 7 and 8 start screens. Even if it is fake, it looks perfect ... any chance that we could get something like that for Start8?

Oh, ffs ... ok, here is the fix which I tried myself once I finally found where Win8 actually kept the damn eventlogs (Worse navigation then even itunes) ... 1. Find the \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository\ directory 2. Take ownership of it. 3. Delete all contents of the directory. 4. Launch your metro app. Should work fine after that. I have no idea why it became corrupted as the only thing I installed before it went haywire was Decor8, Start8

Any update on this? It's not a big issue for me, because I don't use windows8 store for anything ... but it may be something worth fixing for others.

Having the same exact issue. Store stopped working along with all metro apps. Think it was after I changed the lock screen.

It is as if Decor8 is averaging the entire image to find a color (which works better imo) where the desktop only looks at the bottom portion of the image.</

Thank you. Feedback: 1) The blur effect is over the top even at min levels. I can't right-click drag anything out of the start menu to create a shortcut on the desktop like in windows 7. There isn't even an option to pin to desktop ... so I am sorta lost on how I can get shortcuts on my desktop without manually creating them from the desktop. If I left-click drag it sometimes gives me an option to Move to desktop ... but I don't want the actual file on the desktop ... only a shortcut to it.

The Metro tile currently auto sets color to match the background ... an option to expand this to the taskbar would be a nice touch too.

Really nice ... as long as the blur on the Metro is an option :) Still want to see the ability to set Tile background alpha and be able to change the texture/shape of the tiles themselves. Personally I want to see a glass-like rounded corner tile option with transparency.

Could you also add lock screen to decor8 too ... I know its already in windows, but it be nice to have it all in one place. For bonus points the ability to set the DEFAULT lock screen would be a god send. I have to keep hacking the img100.png file to change it currently and its a chore.
