Hello, I guess during my Windows 8 testing I have reached my activation limit for Start8. Is it possible to reset this limit? I have reformatted my computer once again and cannot activate the Start8 product. Thanks for your consideration. Jay R Smith

I think I corrected the issue. I reinstalled windows. It appears to be working now. Thanks for your help.
Here's a screenshot. I am using translucency by the way.
Nope. This is happening on two brand new unaltered installs. I will point out that I'm using the windows 7 style start menu. When I use the windows 8 style start menu the color matches the OS. When I use the windows 7 style start menu the color is gray. That's when I have to try and pick the correct color to match.
When I set Start8 to automatic color the start menu is then set to a gray color. I'm using a Teal color for my default windows theme. Apart from being a nice eReader and movie player, which my
Can you make Start8 use the default OS color scheme instead of me having to try and match the color? I can never get it exactly right.
I would also like the ability to customize the start menu items. Drag and drop, rename, reorder, move items around, etc...
I agree! Why Microsoft removed the start menu is beyond me. Not a smart decision. Not everyone wants to use MUI. Thanks Stardock.
