We turned off Steam Cloud saving for the release of 1.0. It was not that Steam cloud saving was broken in any way; it was just making it a challenge to get good client side testing accomplished. We could not be certain that it was not grabbing corrupt data from the cloud with each support request to have local files removed. That said, it may return as a default and anyone can choose to turn it on.

Run the following and then reinstall Start8 from your account page (important): http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/apps/Purge_Start8.bat
Try setting OD the way you want it, actually exit \ quit OD, reopen it, then see if if does it again. If that works, OD was just having trouble writing the settings.

Version 8.09 was indeed pulled back. There were issues that were not seen initially that needed to be addressed. Another beta version will be released soon. Sorry for the confusion.

Is your question about MP sending audio to another machine or just a single machine not playing audio from certain apps? In either case, what makes you think MP is the cause of your issue.
