Those having downloading issues, can you please confirm which version and build of SDC you are using? You can check this by going to the Help menu and click the About item. Also, what server is SDC set to download from? You can check this by going to the Tools menu and select the Settings item. From here, select the Internet section.

What colour is your display adapter set too?
This should not be an issue with IconPackager as the program is not always in memory. It is only loaded when you change or apply icons. You should try rebuilding your icon cache to see if that helps, or even try increasing your icon cache size.
Kingspinner, check the size of your icons are set correctly to either 32 or 48 pixels. You can change it from within the IconPackager settings. PDOstrander, what version of Windows are you using? x64?
Just to confirm, icon positions on your desktop are actually being swapped around? The actual icons themselves are fine?

Try unticking the Custom Files checkbox from within the Include section. Now try re-applying your icon theme. Does that work?

Unfortunately the Microsoft Office products use their own custom file dialog that can not be replaced.
Can you try reinstalling the latest version of IconPackager from SDC? Then go into the IP installation directory and delete the following file: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\IconPackager\file icons.ini Then try loading up IP and try loading a theme. Does that make any difference?

Does the icon package you have downloaded actually contain those control panel icons? If so, you need to make sure the Control Panel checkbox is ticked, and then reapply your theme.
What version of SDC do you have installed? Please check Help > About to check the build number. Also, what version of IP are you trying to install?
Untick the options in the IconPackager Settings to show splash screen when applying packages. Does that address the issue?
Is this for a specific application or is it happening with all programs you try and use EnhDialog with?
The registry key being set incorrectly has now been addressed internally along with the recent folders crashing when being clicked.
This is the first i have heard of this problem and want to opoligize considering the date of the original post. There was a bug in the settings dialog that was always turning this regkey off. This has now been fixed internally.
