Your using quite an old version of SDC there. Can you try upgrading to the latest version and see if that fixes the problem? You can grab the latest version of SDC from: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe When you get it installed you should be prompted to upgrade to the latest version.

Simply changing the association will not change the application icon. Certain associations also use their own icon handler which stops you from changing the icon explorer uses. I cant remember offhand if Photoshop is like this, but if the icon isnt changing then chances are its Photoshot keeping control of that icon.

What version and build (check Help > About) of SDC are you using to download and install IP? Please be sure you are using the latest version as SDC now installs the required runtime files first, before then installing the main application.

neophile, are you talking about the File Open/Save dialogs? If so explorer does not properly change these icons. You need to enable the Repair shell icons feature within IconPackager from the Tools menu, and then your icons should get changed.

The save package feature doesnt yet support the inclusion of subpackages when saving. This issue will be addressed for the next update. For the time being, simply package your theme manually using winzip. When you have your zip created, just rename its extension to .ip and you should be good to go. If you need any more help on manually zipping it just let me know, as long as you keep your subpackages directory structure you should be fine.

What exactly is Steam? The shareware version you have downloaded does not include any of the iprepair features which means there is nothing loaded in memory for IconPackager to work.

Sir Green Armani , please try temporarily moving all the files in your \Iconpackager\Themes dir to a temp directory. Then try loading IconPackager. Does that now work?

Have you tried leaving the window for a little time? It could be that the shell extension is searching for something and isnt returning.
