All this stuff is still happening. What is the purpose of Object Desktop Manager if the downloads it offers are unreliable? I give up.

OK, thanks. I did that. I'll find out in several days if it worked or not.

I have had this same issue. I get an update notice [outside of the time I selected for updates] and the results are as posted above. Thing is, I already have version 10.74.
Object Desktop is telling me I need to update to the 1.18 version of Groupy. My account says I already have 1.18. And, in fact, I do, OD just doesn't know it.
No dice. Ran the purge program, rebooted. Downloaded and re-installed Groupy 1.18, rebooted again ... Object Desktop still shows an update available [1.18]. I guess I am the only one seeing this?

One would think that all the Strdock software offered under one suite [Object Desktop] would play nicely with one another. I, too, have been frustrated with the lack of Windows Blinds support for ShadowFX. Oh well.
I did the purge and installed 10.74 and it's fine now. Thank you.
Since my PC updated to the October update [1809], the minimize/maximize/close buttons in the upper right corner of the Edge browser have stopped working. I unloaded Windows Blinds and they worked again. I tried uninstalling, installing the BETA-version, rebooting and the problem persists. Currently, I am not going to use Blinds. I see that there is a fix in the works for Windows Blinds and the 1809 update of Windows. Please add this one to the mix. Thanks.
Yep. That was it. Somehow I missed the renewal notice.
I have always like the feature in WindowsFX where you can highlight the active window by dimming the background. I was hoping that the new version, <span style="text-align: left; color: #000000; text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; font-family: 'Segoe UI',Arial,Sans-Serif; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; word-spacing: 0px; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; orphans: 2; float: none; -webkit-text-s
Not sure how long this issue has been present, but I just noticed that my Object Desktop does not show any software under Manage or Installed. Just blank. Any ideas? I have Start10, Fences, Windows Blinds, Icon Packager, and others installed & working, but not Object Manager. It appears to have just stopped working. Edit: I just noticed that the Subscription Window shows I have no subscriptions. Has my subscription expired? I have had no notice.
I do not think that my issue is "totally" unrelated. SFC finds problems every time I run it if I have Icon Packager active.
That is an issue. I have had problems with that particular software since the Creators Update. It caused Windows Live Tiles to cease working. Disabled the Start button. Caused taskbar icons to disappear. Circumvented that by booting to Safe Mode to install. Everything was fine, until I ran SFC. That "fixed" things, but as soon as I changed the icons back to the Icon Packager package. My PC went bonkers again. Windows Creators Update & Icon Packager do not get along.
Well, I got support to acknowledge me, but I was told it was unreproducible. I figured I'd just give up. The issue was very real on my system. I did 3 successive clean installs of Windows 10 Creators Update. No, Stardock software was NOT the first item I installed, but it was pretty close the first 2 go rounds. I think I installed Microsoft Office 365 first, then maybe Norton Internet Security ... then Stardock. Icon Packager knocked my Windows Live Tiles, taskbar icons, and start button all

I finally did supply Support with an account of my issue --- which has been reproduced in 3 separate CLEAN installs of Windows 10 Creators Update. I was disappointed to receive a stock reply listing all of Stardock's customization software indicating whether or not each was Windows 10 compatible. IconPackager was marked "Yes." 24 hours later, case was closed. I guess I am not very important as a customer.
There is an issue here ... I, as I have posted before, has similar experiences to what is described here. In my case, Icon Packager seemed to be the cause, though it might very well have been Blinds. Long standing annoying issue.
Version 10.0.2 as provided by Object Manager.
It pains me to write this. I mean no disrespect to the company or its engineers. I am, however, quite upset. I am a long-time user of Stardock Software and have been subscribed to Object Desktop for several years. I have always loved the customizations the software allowed a user to have at their fingertips to make Windows a spiffier place. Not so sure that is the case any longer. It might be due to the rapid pace of change of the Microsoft product itself, I don't know. What I
Fixed issue where icons would jump around on moves, deletes, additions on Windows 10 Creator's Edition This issue persists. When I delete an icon from the desktop, usually another icon, or two - already in a Fence - will pop out of place and have to be returned manually to its Fence. I installed a clean, updated, Windows 10 64-bit [Creators Update] and used this new Beta-version of Fences.
[quote who="ALMonty" reply="2" id="3674259"] Win 8.1 64 Pro Can't drag and drop an icon to a Fence that is rolled up. Holding the folder the fence won't drop down, releasing the folder and using the cursor made the fence down. 3 fences roll up to the top of the screen. Edit: Just install 3.03 and it works fine.
