@cryocore All the information about the version upgrade and anything and everything related to that you can find in the forum by a simple search. Phrases like this one "Stardock are proving to be utter scum here" and abbrevated swearing will not be tolerated. You can let your voice be heard, but keep it civil. Consider this a warning or your posting rights may be removed.
The icon pack you have linked to in your post #23 is not for Windows 11, and most likely anyone installing that under Windows 11 will encounter issues. I have downloaded the pack to be sure, and it was created on April 8, 2020. Windows 11 was released October 5, 2021 (18 months later).
That is the most likely answer - still. That icon patcher is older than Windows 11 and will cause issues used in Windows 11. Your issue is more t
The scaling works, however it makes everything tiny. I have a fairly small laptop so it has to be at 150 minimum. Was that the only possible solution?
That is unfortunately one of the things that can happen after modifying/patching settings in all versions of Windows.
Tutorial was uploaded onto youtube by MrAmayosken.
Explorer patcher, OpenShell, registry hacks and that was in only a few minutes! I won't spend an hour watching some dude hack Windows 11 to pieces to make it look like Windows 7. That is not what this forum is for, and that is the reason for me asking for all the information above to determine if there is issues with Stardock software or something else. The video
@JanOscar this and the other post of this tittle were actually two different subjects could you combine the two?
They are now both in the OP of this thread. Sorry about that. I'll pay more attention to detail in the future.

No surprise that Edge & Chrome show the same, so it seems that chrome based browsers know how to insert a break in the black area, and others not. I cannot edit the OP in any way with the limited editing tools we have for that in the forum, so my guess is that it was written in another text editor and pasted here. All I can do with the black background, is del
I am using a 1920x1080 screen, and used this github page for my icons.
There is a tutorial on how to install the EXACT same theme used in my screenshot onto Windows 11. This is what their version looks like.
Sorry, but basj and I have already answered your questions. How do you expect anyone to be able to help you if you're not willing to provide the information needed? I have no knowledge of that tutorial, nor do I have the specs for that particular computer used, and it doesn't matter, sin

That is pretty unreasonable, don't you think? With that said, if you look at the screenshot I posted in the reply above ( #17), you have no issues. Everything looks normal on
Wow! I find that really hard to believe, but OK. I am definitely not going to a lower resolution though. I need a larger monitor and resolution. Many users are on even smaller screens and resolutions today than earlier, because they use their phones,

They look almost identical, as you can see. Yours are one "1" pixel higher up from the bottom and closer to the top likely due to your display scaling and/or your setting for icon size or related to the theme you use.
I understand that, but I have seen other people using this exact theme on Windows 11 and it looks perfect on their PCs. I am perfectly okay with it looking different to Windows 7, my problem is that for whatever reason, only I seem to be having these issues, and all of my themes look wrong because of it.
