I don't recall...if I had, I would have definitely upgraded because I love this software! However, I notice on your web site for Fences 5: "Available for Business Purchasing Only" and that is vaguely familiar...maybe that's why I didn't upgrade then? When you deploy the in-app notification for v6, if you want me to check I'd be happy to... Although, will I not receive a notification because I now have v.6 (Beta 2) ?

I installed Fences 6.0 without difficultly. Only had to make minor position changes to my existing fences. Fences now align with each other even more easily. Backups are now saving normally. Thank you!

Will an upgrade to Fences 6 preserve all of my current fences and settings? Why doesn't Fences prompt me to upgrade when an upgrade is available? Thank you.

Since 4/28 my daily snapshots, and manual snapshots are blank! Moved to Fences category by moderator.

Whenever I start my computer in the morning, fences loads an old desktop snapshot. If I restart the machine, it loads my current/desired snapshot. I have deleted all of the snapshots in the backup folder, except the one that I want. How do I get rid of that old one? Thank you.

Wow! Great support! My .xlsm workbooks have thousands of lines of VBA code which could be affecting Fences in some bizarre way. If this file type has not been reported as problematic by other users, then it is likely minutely-specific to our workbooks, and therefore not worth trying to chase down a solution. Thank you for your assistance!

I have had Fences for years and love it. However, regardless of Windows version (7, 8.1, 10) or computer, when I open an Excel .xlsm file from ANY fence on my main desktop, when I close that workbook it always returns to the "default" desktop fence ("new icon" fence which I named "Temporary Icons"), not to the original fence. This does NOT happen with .xls, .xlsx or .xltm workbooks. Thank you.
