Hello Zubaz, Yes, no other accounts show in the native system. Windows removes all traces of Fast User Switching from itself, but as Start8 is not part of the Operating System, Windows doesn't touch it. Start8 removes Logoff, Hibernate etc. when the corresponding GPO is enabled (e.g. Remove Logoff from Start), but it doesn't react to disabling Fast User Switching.

Hello, In Windows 8 Pro, I have Group Policy configured to disallow 'Fast User Switching'. This can be found at: Administrative Templates > System > Logon > Hide Entry Points for Fast User Switching In previous versions of Windows, this would remove the 'Switch User' option from the Start Menu as the functionality had been disabled. Start8 doesn't follow the policy however, thus 'Swit

Thank you for your response Neil. Great to hear you've been able to reproduce the issue. I hope a patch for it will be able to make its way into the next update.

Sorry for the multiple posts, but I've just uninstalled Start8 1.20 and re-installed 1.16 (I still had the installer on the HDD). PC Settings works correctly with 1.16 (directs me to the Modern UI/Metro PC Settings App), but with 1.20 it just opens desktop Control Panel. This is definitely a Start8 issue then. Hope this has been helpful, and I really hope it gets fixed soon. Having a link to PC Settings from the Start Menu was very useful.

Hello, Minor bug, but for those of us who prefer the Basic (Aero Lite) theme over the standard Windows 8 theme, the taskbar becomes completely transparent when used in conjunction with Start8. A workaround exists though: The 'Disable Taskbar Translucency' checkbox just needs to be un-ticked then re-ticked. This permanently fixes the issue (not sure about changing too/from the standard and High Contrast themes though). </

Just found out the PC Settings .ink shortcut in the Start Menu is actually part of the Windows 8 Operating System, not Start8 (moving it to Recycle Bin resulted in any link to PC Settings becoming inoperable). Microsoft implemented this Modern UI/Metro design really poorly. I assume Start8 is responsible for having it open PC Settings rather than Control Panel though as opening the 'Store' app for example (which is also in the Start Menu as part of the Operating

Hello, Firstly, Start8 is a fantastic product of providing a near perfect replica of the Windows 7 Start Menu, but with great additional features and functionality. Thanks for providing such a great Start menu for Windows 8. However, one little niggle with it is the 'PC Settings' .ink shortcut provided in the Start Menu (which takes you to the 'Modern UI/Metro' Control Panel) doesn't seem to work in the latest update (1.20).
