What exactly does this tool do, and will it delete all of the files associated with it, even if they are open and running?

I recently downloaded the free trial of Stardock's Deskscapes. I also recently found out that it has been the cause of many of the problems I've been having such as freezing, crashing, etc. So I uninstall Deskscapes via the convenient little "uninstall" tool provided by Stardock on my start menu. However, I find that it still exists in my list of programs; so I go to my default "uninstall program" and find Star
