There's nothing "elitist" about my opinion. I do this for a living you noob. I gave him my professional opinion. I never said i was right. My "so-called rulebook" has lead the world's top entertainment, technology and media companies to my door for 10 years. Wtf have you accomplished? You take a good long look at my company's client list and you tell me i don't know what the f**k i'm talking about: http://www.theskinsfactory.com/skinsfactory/?page=clients I edited my other com

I gave the artist (who i assumed was Pixel Pirate) some professional advice which he can take or leave. My choice of words may be a little harsh, i called them "design mistakes" because that what they are to me, but i was very clear that this was my opinion and one person's flaws is another person's uber idea. I probably should have said "design choices". I apologize to Lasse for not wording it better and more accurately. We did that color scheme for an egyptian theme for Microsoft Ga
Quoting TheSkinsFactory, reply 20Yep. I agree. Better to be a smart prick than a dumb ass. I've never been the counterpart of what I am, so I really can't say for sure. (Update on the main post will be done, but somehow it seems like I have life interfering... )
You definitely fall under the "prick" category. Trust me. I can see my own kind and you're definitely a prick.

It's called an opinion and this is a forum and i don't have to justify my opinions to you. And I am an authority as i have done this professionally for 10 years. If you want to play by your own rules then you have no right to call me out anymore than i can call out things i see as 'mistakes'. So which is it? Are we allowed to make comments on our forum or should we all sit back like little sheep and say nothing. And since when is making suggestions wrong? WTF?

I knew you created the theme. I can tell your style. Like i said "design mistakes" are a relative thing. One person's trash is another's treasure. Blue is more prominent as its on window frames, start menu and button. The flash happens so infrequently that the teal should have been designated for that and the blue should have had a more prominent placement. Just my opinion.

Same color scheme as our 7 year old Age of Mythology theme. Which means our WMP skin would work quite well with this. Check it out: http://www.theskinsfactory.com/skinsfactory/?page=view&portID=93&portPage=6 If you use our WMP skin in screenshots please credit us with our name and link. As a courtesy. For some of you old timers the AoM skin was done by Kig with me art directing. Kig rocked! Couple of co

Check it out: http://www.theskinsfactory.com/skinsfactory/?page=view&portID=93&portPage=6 Couple of comments about your theme... 1. The Ankh symbol needs some work. Seriously. I mean the theme is names Ankh, you could at least create the most beautiful and accurate design of one. 2. Next/Previous Arrow buttons: arrows are too dark if its in idle state. If its in disabled

I rarely give permission to port our work but if someone copped an attitude because i wanted to see it first before they distributed it i would tell them to go #*$@ themselves. Or i would say !*^%$ or maybe even ?#!*&. Once in awhile i'll tell them #*^@ but i have to be really angry to say #*^@ or even !*^%$.

Lightstar: It's called delegating responsibility. An important part of a CEO's job function. Notice how masterfully i delegated that to Dog? Take notes buddy. Dog: That how we Floridians roll. Lock and loaded.

Ahh but see, everyone has the ability to not read and follow a forum thread if they find something not to their liking. Or even to "walk away". I'd prefer someone bash me on a forum thread than on a skinner's gallery submission which like I.R. Braniac said, would live on that piece of art's page permanently, while forum posts live and die. Because if the nastiness happens here, it will certainly happen on some poor artist's submission. Until you have a feature like DA has where you can hide c

I totally disagree with you Jafo. How can something be voiced incorrectly in a forum when a forum's definition is to be an avenue of discussion? I don't think this type of thing belong's on a skin's comment section. It's too conversational. Why muck up a skin's comment section with dialog? Plus one person's bad experience can influence others when in fact it can quite possibly be an isolated incident and just affecting that user's PC. <img src="file:///C:/Users/HYPERD~1/AppData/Local/

You know everyone would get along so much better if we could all sit down and slam a few shots of Patron Silver. Island Dog is buying...

I'd like to say something... It's a relief to see a flame thread that isn't revolving around me or my company. Okay carry on. Seriously though, forums are the perfect place for this kind of thread. But what people need to keep in mind is that just because it's not working on the poster's PC doesn't mean it will be like that on everyone else's PC. Same thing happens with Hyperdesk.

Giorgi: You are absolutely right it is a risk to you also. I absolutely agree. And my name is Jeff. Now that i know the theme is for a client i understand why you didn't name them but your company was needed which you provided. The fact that your company is new and doesn't have a website would make me wary only because there is no record of who you've worked for in the past. No public record anyway. It really boils down to trust like you said.
