This debate is one that has been ongoing since i first joined the skinning communities. It's funny how the times change but topics stay the same. I try not to post comments that are generic if i don't like something. Most of the time i just don't say anything. But if you're going to post your work on a site that allows comments then you need to grow a thicker skin. You should read some of the posts on the PlayStation blog... talk about hateful and ugly. And i've bought plenty of apps where you use the eval copy and just unlock it with a key. Which this seems to do only it didn't work right. It should have erased the word free since i was no longer using a free a version.

I know why you have to install impulse i just wanted to know if you could avoid it. I didn't have impulse installed when i had the eval copy and everything ran nicely. Which is why went to buy the full version when the eval expired. But i just got things running and i don't want to go through it again. Patch has been running forever. Its the app i'm waiting to be finished. And the icon codes. Everything else is good. We just have to port Disney, WALL-E and EVE over to vista and

Toolbars are back. I just switched Hyperdesk themes and they came back. They were probably remembering the bug from before and when the theme was applied it wiped the bug out. I would like my serial number. Also can't i get IP as a standalone app and installer without using impulse?

First it never prompted me to uninstall. I have uninstalled it now and my toolbars are still missing. I shouldn't have to run a clean up program to run an app. That's ridiculous. I can't even find my app to reinstall it through impulse. Plus i was not sent a serial number just an invoice so i can't even include that. I'm getting pissed.

So I was trying out the evaluation of IP for the last month and my evaluation ran out. So i decided to purchase it. 2 major issues have now happened. 1. Every time i launch the app it says my evaluation has expired even though i installed my update via impulse and it started to work again. 2. My Vista toolbars disappear completely. The shellstyle toolbars. Soon as i revert back to default the toolbars reappear. Anyone else h

We've often addressed the female gender in our themes. I stopped offering it after Alienware took down our logo off their site :-) At 50-60 MB I'm not supporting them if they aren't supporting us. Simple economics. I'm using flagship right now. I'll post a screenshot when i get some time. Pretty awesome. I'm actually excited about theming Vista now. Oh and only Star Trek geeks like me will appreciate this but we're working on a mirror universe version of the Trek theme. New widget, some new icons, tweaked the theme a little and will do new wallpapers. Called Star Trek: Terran Empire. Next is we're doing TNG and the Borg.

Hyperdesk for Vista should be coming out very soon. We're more than halfway done porting the themes over to Vista. Just finishing up the icon codes and some app crapp. :-) Both have their charms. Really you just shoot for the theme you like since both are basically theme distribution apps. To address some comments... You can pick and choose which elements to install for Hyperdesk. So if you want to apply the hypertheme but not the icon set then you uncheck the icon button. Mos

My intention was if you're going to use this theme you should check out a Windows Media Player skin that fits with it perfectly.
