Hello, Here is a request I've made in the past and have never seen a response as to why this would not be a useful feature, or why it cannot easily be programmed. It seems to me to be both useful and easy to accomplish. I would very happily pay more for the product than the current cost if it had this feature: I would to be able to click on any visible part of a Fence and have it gain focus and be brought to the front of any other open windows on the desk

Yes, 1.01.143 is a free version. The problem has become much more frequent than I had at first reported, it now happens every third or fourth time I double click on an item. I will be installing the paid version as soon as I can remember where I put it.
Hmmm. I use Pro and when I narrow the window, a scroll bar appears and drops all icons into a single vertical column.
My Free Fences lets me make more than 6. I know of no limit. Right-click-and-DRAG on the desktop will create a new fence. Or Right-click and then choose Configure Fences will also let you create a new fence. Does yours not work this way?
I have noticed the problem with Fences 1.01.143 and WinXpPro SP3. I have NOT noticed the problem on Fences Pro 1.1.0.419 on Win7, but the problem is very infrequent in any case. Peter
I have recently encountered the following minor problem: I open application A that is in Fence A in the normal way by double-clicking on it. Then I double click on application B in Fence B, and another instance of A opens. The first time it happened I thought it was just some underdone potatoes, but then it happened again, so it's not my imagination. Has anyone else has had this happen? Thanks Peter. <
Another aspect, perhaps, of this same feature is to have a fence be brought to the front when you click on it just like a window, and then recede to the back when you click on anything else. I would like to see this behavior with existing Fences even if the original idea cannot be implemented. Many thanks, Peter
+1 on this enhancement request, hope to see it soon. I would even go so far as to say give the user the option to say that the arrangement of the icons inside the fence will be allowed to constrain how the fence can be reshaped. In other words, don't re-arrange the icons when fence shape changes, don't add scroll-bars; if necessary don't let the fence be set smaller than what's inside it. And, of course, I would have all this enhancement available as a p
+1 on this enhancement request. In the meantime, I just installed Fences Pro and in each fence, the icons crowd the left edge so far that the border around each highlighted icon is cut off by the left boundary of the fence. It's no big deal but it looks shabby and I'd like to fix it. Anyone else see this? Can it be fixed apart from the enhancement features? TIA, Peter Smick
