A feature I would like to see

from Stardock Forums

A really nice feature to see in Fences would be making the fences retractable and expandable.

Now I know that you can double click to hide them.

And I know you can choose which will not be hidden.

But it would be neat i.e. to have the fence's title and click on it, and it would expand and show it's contents, then another click to hide them.

I think this feature would mostly be helping to users with small monitors on which the desktop would still be a bit cramped even if using Fences already.

yes - this would be a really nice feature !

Also without click : simply moving the mouse over a small area (like an icon or the title) : the fences expand

 

 

Another wish : changing the font of the fences

Another aspect, perhaps, of this same feature is to have a fence be brought to the front when you click on it just like a window, and then recede to the back when you click on anything else.  I would like to see this behavior with existing Fences even if the original idea cannot be implemented.
