A reply to an old thread, but I have the same issue. In my case, everything works well except when I enable "wobbly windows", which is where dragging a window messes up the colors. If that option is off, then dragging a window works as normal. Also, the dragging looks worse if the check for making windows transparent when dragged is on.

Really, Stardock? Putting up ads on your software to try to get us to update to the newest release? I thought you were to fix Microsoft's shortcomings, not emulate them. And no, I'm not upgrading.
So many years since ObjectDock was pretty much abandoned, so I switched to the free version of the Nexus dock, which has worked fine in Windows 10/11 and with more options than what the paid version of the old ObjectDock had. And honestly, I don't want a repeat of that "Start11 v2" burn, when some "ObjectDock 3 v2" could drop after a while. So what does ObjectDock 3 have that would make someone move away from a free program to a paid one?
So when Windows 12 releases next year (as several sites seem to infer could be coming), most likely there will be a "Start 12" that will require *yet* another purchase. So thanks, but I'm saying no to v2.
I am using the Windows10-like style with Start11, and like the actual Windows 10 menu, newly installed apps are show with "New" under the title. But unlike Windows 10, they will not away even after running or right clicking on them. This stuck status survives even reboots. How can I get rid of it? On a related note, I guess Start11 is the closest one can get to having a Windows 10 menu, but it is far from perfect. Many features of the original aren't present in it.
With 10.84, Firefox skins but the text in the title bar is missing unless I hover the cursor over any of the Maximize/Minimize/Close controls. Cursor disappears when doing a screen capture, but the "X"button is highlighted. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/45/3/4503219/fea561a9-2d5d-4ec3-be88-e8dbc6b96f58.png" alt="" width="1920" h
Neither option works. The link on the first message points to a "My Downloads" page, and the version I downloaded from it has the same size and filename as the file I downloaded yesterday. And using the "Check for Updates" option in the WB says that no updates were found.
Also, the link provided gives me 10.82 for download, not 10.83

Keeping Windowblinds running without errors has become very difficult with all the changes to Windows, browsers
Same. Back button not working, although the mouse's back button works on Settings, so it is not a big issue for me. I also have a problem where the taskbar disappears over the Start button if I choose to use the OS default in WB. BTW, this is on a clean install of both WB and Windows 10 1903; I was trying and failing to fix a problem with USB 3.0 flash drives caught in a connect/disconnect loop (MS is at fault on that).
It appears to be solved as the problem has not happened since that update.
In the middle of the latest attempt at troubleshooting, a message appeared saying there was a newer version of WindowBlinds (10.74) I thought I had nothing to lose if I just let it download and install on top of the installed version (10.65), and now File Explorer is back to normal. I hope the problem is gone; I will update if anything changes.
After I started the laptop the next day, the problem started happening on it as well. The proposed check for corrupted files returns no problems found. So I would say there is a problem with WindowBlinds that causes problems with the October update for Windows 10. I never had this problem until I updated the computers to that version.
I installed the program on my laptop to test, and it appears to be working correctly, so I guess there is something in my desktop that is preventing WindowBlinds from working with Windows 10 v1809 (it worked correctly before the update). I'll check this weekend when I will have time to work on it and will update then,
It didn't work. Crashes continue. The purge didn't work as it probably should. All my program exceptions were present after I reinstalled. Were they supposed to be removed?
Hello, I'm having a problem with WindowBlinds. File Explorer will open, but it will crash if I try to access any drive or user folder. The wallpaper and taskbar will disappear for a couple seconds and then reappear after Windows recovers from the problem. It happens whether I choose File Explorer from the Start menu, or opening "This PC" on the desktop. The solution so far is to exclude C:\Windows\Explorer.exe from skinning, but this prevents the taskbar from skinning, as well as havi
Las weekend I decided to test the Creators Update. Soon after installation, I had a problem where the computer boots only to a black desktop and a cursor. No taskbar, no icons, and nothing else. I searhed on Google to see what the problem could be, and found a link to the forums where someone said WindowBlnds 10 would not work with the Anniversary update. I tried booting into Safe Mode to uninstall it, but Safe Mode was unusable -- the screen flashed constantly, and I could not even o
Today WindowBlinds offered an update, which I was hoping would be a fix for this. Hopes dashed after a few minutes when the bug reappeared. Will this ever get fixed?
WindowBlinds 10 comes with a skin named "Diamond", which is very close to Windows 7.
The latest version of WindowFX seems to have solved the two issues I had with the program and Windows 10. One odd bug seems to persist, however. I also have WindowBlinds 10 on my computer. I excluded Firefox and DAZ Studio from being skinned due to a few graphical glitches I was getting with windows not opening correctly, and dialog boxes slowly drifting to the right and down from saving files or even DAZ's file loading notifications. For some odd reason, this exclusion seems to b
Hello, There is an issue with WB 10, at least where my computer is concerned. The Start button reverts back to the Windows 10 default. Also, part of the skin disappears over the notification area. At first it was just over the keyboard indicator, but now it seems to do so randomly with some of the icons. I tried attaching a screenshot, but the forums would not let me, so here is a link -- http://sta.sh/01qs4t4p10q5 Changing skin
Add me to the group that is also having issues. In my PC, the open and close animations stop working. Oddly, the minimize and restore animations still continue to work, as well as transparency for inactive windows. Dragging windows, however, turns them almost invisible, with only a very faint image to be seen. As the other people noted, turning WindowFX off and then back on solves it, but after a couple hours or so the same problems come back. Moreover, when I shutdown or reboot the c
The Control Panel in the latest nVidia drivers for my laptop (GTX 860 GPU) crashes upon launch. I have to unload WindowBlinds or switch to the default skin if I want to open it. The beta version of WB does not prevent the program from crashing. I've tried excluding it in WB, but it still will crash upon launch. I know you folks try hard, but it's still a bit annoying. If the upcoming Windows 10 includes Aero or something like it, my copy of WB is not going to ma
[quote who="Neil Banfield" reply="6" id="3516563"] What graphics cards do you have as FireFox should be skinning just fine with out of the box settings on any DirectX11 capable graphics card. If you are getting crashes with FireFox, check if you are using any tweaker apps which might force DirectX settings on games etc as they are prone to causing problems like this. I was using 8.06, but that beta seems to have fixed my problem with the Logitech software. Thanks! As for Firefox, I found out that if I disable hardware acceleration in the options, the program will not crash and work fine. It would not be the first time I've had issues when that option is checked.
