Seabass, how can we update to 6.01? It's only available for registered users. If you're aware of a download link for the trial version of 6.01, please let us know! Cheers, PCPete

G'day all, I've just installed the trial version of WB 5.51 on my XP x64 system. The install seemed to go OK, but when I rebooted, I see the dreaded "Windowblinds is missing a core DLL file (WBLIND.DLL)" message. In the WB install dir, sure enough there's no wblind.dll, but there is a wblind64.dll, and if I manually run wbload.exe, I get the default wb skin applied. ...nice try! But it's the shareware version of WB 6.0, which I already have (and which won't install). As I see it, the problem for XP x64 users who wish to try WB is that we have to purchase a version of the software that we know definitely doesn't work, and just hope like hell that a prior version is still available that does work on our systems. I'm out of support for WB - so I can only try to install WB6 trial (which fails), and I want to make SURE 5.51 will work on this system before coughing up USD$19.50. So can I email them to send me a trial version? (Based on the response koobah got, I suspect not). Thanks for any ideas!
My $0.02 : I stopped using OD and WB when I moved to XP x64 a couple of years ago. The need for more memory, multiple core support, faster (64 bit) I/O was critical for my small business, and I've been running XP64 stably with no problems for over a year now. This is a 99.83% uptime system (less than 1 hour/month downtime), and when I trialled Vista x64 "Ultimate", it was "ultimately", hasta la Vista . For some users,
