ok find the wbload.dll in

C:\WINDOWS\system32

i copy it and put it in

C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds

and nothing atall what do we do now

warlordfmike I think Seebass6.7 reply in #5 is the best way to correct your problem. Use the link that Hankers posted in reply #7 and then post your system info again. Really it's the quickest and easiest way to do it.

Well now its sounding like the first download was a bad one and updating to 6.01 didn't correct the problem. I bow my head and say that I'm sorry, but I probably should of suggested that you first uninstall WB first.

Because it's a trial I'm not sure it will work but uninstall WB6 from your computer, reboot and then try installing wb 6.01 again. I hope this will work. Come back and post how you made out.

i did do that and i forgot to say that i i had wb 5.51 and then i updated to wb 6.00
then it ran out then when i reboot it was the classic windows so i uninstalled it and
downloaded wb 6.01 and no luck there so what do we do iv had this before and i had a
problem with my pc and had to do a system restore and then i reinstalled everthing
and then wb 5.51 work right but im not going to do a restore thats crazy so tell
me what to do and ill do it thank u

Well then, when you provide all the information more light is shed on the situation. I think what you have run up against is that your trial period is all done. That's what a trial period is all about. You are now at the crossroads of did I like the program well enough to now pay for it. Come back if you want some suggestions, not sure what kind or how much customizing you are interested in doing.

Then you'll need to buy Windowblinds...though I would definitely suggest ObjectDesktop instead. It has just about everything you need to customize your computer.

Have to agree with Bebi Bulma, ObjectDesktop is the way to go. Yes it is more money but with the programs that are included, WindowBlinds being one, you can trick out your desktop to make it look like no other.

Let's consider this:

Object Desktop costs $49.95 at the first year. This is ~ 0.137 cents per day!

Object Desktop Renewal costs $34.95 for each other year. I. e. ~ 0.096 cents per day!

Is this a big money?   

True, but when you pay up front you don't see the daily cost, and Stardock doesn't doesn't sell a one day subscriptions. Just having some fun.

I just wanted to demonstrate that the services and pleasure that we have for these funny money are more then equivalent for their costs.

On this reason I can't understand why people don't buy the full version of software but want to get the full service.
