Do you have any other customizing software like open shell on your system?
No. Just Start 11, WB 11, Iconpackager.
Ah... So if I start windows (no button), wait until windows is fully started up, then restart windows, it seems to reinstate the start button.
Windows version 22H2 OS Build 19045.3693 1. correct - missing only on primary, always present on secondary 2. yes - any skin, including default skins like Diamond, Echo etc. 3. restarting explorer didn't resolve the issue (in fact slightly borked the taskbar and needed to reload the WB skin - still no start button) 4. although it did seem to reappear at one point after a reboot, after the next shutdown/start cycle it had gone again..
Missing start button on my primary monitor, but is showing ok on my secondary monitor. The Start button is just invisible (blank - not showing - not using a Start11 button, colour or background of any sort) but it does open the start menu if you click where it should be. And so many of that number were sold on the outright bullshit lies Boris told them about the benefits of leaving and xenophobia about immigration. His platform is built on small-minded middle-Eng

Just a little heads-up that after a little discussion in the comments of my Daimen skin, I decided to add sub styles which have the Start Menu user picture hidden to a further ten skins (basically all my recent ones). So that's as follows: Daimen Flick Hyano Pulse Yokai Hyano Nexa Ketix2 Kairon Grape Dax Nirah Hyano (this means that Dax has six sub styles - three existing titlebar icon styles plus 'no user pic' versions for eac
Isn't that a setting for the tiles layout? You could set the tile background and choose a colour? (no idea if that's only in start10?)
Anyone else noticing that some of the comment on skins are spam recently? Maybe it's time to add Captcha or something to the comments forms?
This is a better comparison. And maybe most people find the rescaled ones perfectly acceptable..
Thanks for your reply. I have found that on Windows 10 with an icon that only includes the 256x256 32 bit size scales automatically to fit all the views mentioned above. Is it really necessary to include all the different sizes in the icon? I do have a 4K monitor, so maybe that makes a difference?
Well that's open to opinion and whether your eyes can tell the difference. When you take a 256x256 image and rescale it to 16x16 it
So, just uploaded an icon pack, but while making them found that when I compared my set with others available around various sites, it looks like IconPackager is falling behind. I made an icon for SSD drive, Recent Documents and the 'Cloud' folder, but IP doesn't seem to have a place for them or other icons (3D folder, padlock overlay for encrypted drives, default printer, alternative folder colours etc.) Is there likely to be any development which will remove some of the redundant ic

2of3 - exactly the same here - I use CS3 with the old version of the tga plugin that works (newer versions of PS don't work with the old tga plugin). One of the reasons I switched to Curtains was that it uses transparent PNGs. I think SkinStudio may need a correction to its tga/png conversion code...
