Thanks :) For the most part, we're doing well. Of the Impulse team, most of us went on to bigger and better things over the last 12 or so months. A few moved into other positions within GameStop, but those who moved out of the company went on to some pretty interesting stuff. A few of the companies Impulse alums went to: Yvolver <a href="http://www.nightdivestudios.com/" target="_blan

This news made me sad too. I chose to leave GameStop last year after a lot of the decisions you're just now learning about (no more client, US-only sales, steam codes via email etc.) were finalized. I remember being in the first planning meeting for what "the next version of Stardock Central" would be. I remember launching the first THQ game, the first EA game, the first Ubisoft game on Impulse. I still think we had something that could have been a real com

Putting faces to the names and email addresses that fly back and forth across my inbox was great. Being all the way out in Michigan when much of the industry is on the west coast makes

Cut out the personal attacks. If you can't keep the argument from getting personal, it's time to maybe step away from the thread.

You'll see me around from time to time too, I'm Mike and I do a lot of community work for Stardock, in addition to misc network stuff. You'll see my name in the GC2 credits at the end under the beta testers list. I float around the forums a lot. You'll likely start seeing me in the gaming forums a lot more in the coming weeks.
Oooooohhhh, that's sneaky. Now I have to pre-order a game and wait for delivery instead of walking into my local store and buying it the day it comes out. Why would I pre-order the game other than to be nice to your guys (not saying you don't deserve it)?
See, this is the beauty of Digital Distribution :D You download the game the second it's available, and like with GC2, you don't even have to have all the pieces in place to start playing (i.e. you can st
