Sounds like Windows is corrupted ( you didn't say what version you are running ) options: you could run a Virus check update windows to the latest version ( best option ) with System Restore go back to a version that did work right
I uninstalled Deskscapes and Dream Maker yesterday and then upgraded to Windows 10 Home (x64) Version 1709 (build 16299.125) reinstalled Deskscapes and Dream Maker and ALL is working fine . I understand also working fine with Windows 10 Pro version .
I'm running Windows 10 and Deskscapes Deskscapes is working fine on my PC with all High Contrast filters and all 4 high contrasts 1-4 I just updated Win 10 yesterday to latest version maybe you should check and see if you have the latest version. try purging and reinstalling Deskscapes https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling

I don't have dual monitors to test ... ScreenSavers were popular before Deskscapes but made in a lot lower resolutions most would not work for you now with that set up . Not sure what your " Custom ScreenSaver " res is. I have made a lot of ScreenSavers a few lately , try a few of my more recent ScreenSavers and see if they work any better My ScreenSaver link : http://azdude.wincustomize.
