Hi All, I've been out of the loop for some time now. I visit the WinCustomize homepage daily but haven't used any Stardock products for a really long time. Been looking at rebuilding my home PC and ObjectDesktop has peaked my interest again. Does anyone still use Window FX? I'm thinking this is the only option that I have to get some 'life' into XP (have had too many gripes with Vista and I want to keep this rebuild low budget). I'm a bit wary because I d

The one thing that I want to know is how you plug a camera into a speaker with a parallel/scsi cable and get anything to work. What is supposed to happen?

A Media Center replacement would be nice. Nice (animated?) icons across the top for different media types and across the bottom for advanced configurations. Detect currently installed media apps and provide a list to easily pick from with a remote control. Highly configurable to favorite apps for individual media types (I like Winamp for everything. I say the true challenge behind all of this is what happens to money. I've got to be honest...I hate money. The only reason I have a job is to live and

I had the same problems as you Frugus. I've tried three different versions of Redhat and stumbled most of the way. I tried Lycoris which never even worked and finally settled on a fourth distro of Redhat (8.0 - very nice but still stumbled). I think I may have to try Xandros as well. jj79_1999 - I think that's the idea with most linux users that get into creating their own distros. Make it user friendly so support is minimal and customers are happy with the out-of-the-box product.

Very cool...this technology needs to be stuffed into ObjectBar IMHO. Very smooth even on an 800MHz PIII. On Win2K with font smoothing enabled the text for the first icon that gets focus isn't smooth. All of the others are.
