After rebooting I can now seamlessly move the mouse across to the laptop. I had positioned the laptop at a slightly higher level and that may have confused the issue. However, the issue with KVM is not resolved.

I am using a high specification Windows 11 Pro PC. I am annoyed that I appear to have bought a beta version of Multiplicity (4.0.0.2). I bought it because I thought it was a full program version. It is completely unstable and when I try to run it it causes Explorer.exe to crash. My existing Multiplicity 3 Pro was working without any issues before I uninstalled it.

I see from an earlier post that a similar problem was occurring. Turning off "Roll up Fences placed on edge of screen" allows me to dock any Fence on the taskbar. I can then choose 'Roll-up Fence' from the individual Fence menu. Also if you click on the individual Fence menu and choose 'view | Roll-up fence'. Then move it down to the taskbar this will also work. It appears that docking on the taskbar with "Roll up Fences placed on edge of screen" selected is the i
I had a similar problem - I was trying to dock a window to the bottom of the screen to activate it as a roll up Fence. When I moved the Fence to the bottom of the screen it would not dock on the taskbar but continued moving down behind it without docking. Turning off "Roll up Fences placed on edge of screen" allows this to work. You can then choose 'Roll-up Fence' from the individual Fence menu. Also if you click on the individual Fence menu and choose 'view | Roll-up fence'.
In the configuration it describes that you can move a Fence to the edge of the screen and it will automatically become a roll up Fence. This only works for me if I try and dock with the top edge of my desktop. I can dock Fences to the left and right side but they don't automatically become roll up Fences. I cannot dock a Fence on the bottom of my desktop which is where I have my taskbar - it simply slides behind the taskbar until I reach the Fence title and is not docked o
If I have sorting turned on the is an issue with the icons on the desktop outside my fences. The attached image shows the top left space on the desktop. Whichever type of sorting I use I always end up with two icons overlayed. If I switch of sorting this automatically resets so there isn't an overlap. <img src="http://www.n-sign.org/stardock/top-left-overlapping-icons-in-any-sort-view-fences-3_04.gif" alt="Top left overlapping icons in any sort view fences 3.04" width="78" height="104

The upgrade process needs to be click simple and obvious. Even in the beta stage it would be worth considering elements of this. I checked that I had screen shots and backups. In order to stop version 1.0 being the dominant program I had to go into MSConfig and manually stop Fences 1 from starting. (Windows 7 - Click on windows icon bottom left | Type msconfig into search box | Opens System Configuration window | Click on startup tab | Click on Manufacterer head
