hopefully it is something you Could turn off all together. I know that in AOE 2 (an RTS which is different) you could always save a game after a few hours of play and then pick up the game where you left off how ever long later. Probably hard with a 15 person game but very usefull and nice to have with 4-6 players lanning who are more then willing to take their time
