I liked the quests of Grods in Space, I needed cheat sheets though. it was a clever game. Eternal Dagger, Wizard's Crown: You could use your experience points to improve your character the way you wanted. Spending Exp. points you gained fighting with a war hammer to upgrade skills in another weapon wasn't realistic though but Dojos that could do that to a high level would have solved that. Legacy of the Ancients: It was a bit easy to get lost i

Hello, My Galactic Civ III game has a number of custom races that were designed by other people and installed on the game. I always get several pop-up windows which says: Invalid Ship Style Detected The Ship Style [name] has failed to validate for the following reasons and will not be available: + Unknown Ship Class [DONE] Now if the game assigns some default

The colony is now there with the quest, although it might be a good idea to update the text in the "Objectives" to say Beta Horus VIIIa instead of Beta Horus VIII. As a side note: I drove to the monument at Ashinara in the Zeta Xiphios system, I was unable to use the 'E'xplore option. This was reported several weeks ago and the monument still cannot be explored, there is a small "beep" and nothing, no

For the Pointers to the Beta Llvoren system does anyone know what those pointers are or where they can be seen ? Is this something displayed on the navigation map somewhere ? It doesn't prevent someone from completing the main quest but I've no idea what those pointers are.

Yes, the fix resolved the issue for me as far as the Solar System is now there however there is nothing special on Alpha Horus III. Whatever quest presence that is supposed to be on the planet is not there.

There is a quest item with the Mu'Kay where we need to help do something for a colony they wish to establish. When we travel to Beta Horus, the system is just empty space. From hyperspace, we can see a purple star but when the system is entered it's just empty space. There doesn't appear to be a way to zoom out to see where the star and its planets are located.

Playing the most recent patch, I encountered an invulnerable critter It is one of the worms that go underground in a pit marked by a stone circle. The worm damaged my lander leaving me with one crew. I fired the stunner repeatedly at it and it did nothing, no power bar appeared when the beams hit it.

I though it might be a nice feature if visiting alien Starbases or planets that can act like starbases: Maelhnir, MenMack, the Mercenaries colonies for examples to have a gambling feature where Resource Units could be bet for the chance to win either resources or more R.U. The gambling game could be like Blackjack, Stones of Wisdom / Liar's dice, the Royal Game of UR (which is an ancient backgammon pre-cursor). It would give certain Starbases a feel like DS9 or s

I have reached the end game and also have most of the modules mentioned. Still don't like it. The Heat Shield MK3 is insufficient for some hot worlds you need another heat shield on top of that one to explore some hot worlds.

In SC2, when we obtained technology to make a lander better, better shuttle craft lander were made. If we started the game with the equivalent of a Ford Model T lander we finished with something like a Rolls Royce or a Lamborghini. You couldn't lose an improvement because the base lander became better. In SCO, the approach is different, modules kept on the main ship make a Ford Model T lander behave more like a Tesla. I suppose that the modules are kept on t

Idea: When the Scryve joined the Eight, the group was distrustful of their new member. The star map they gave the Scryve was missing a few stars, stars that are visible in the Precusor stargate Hypergate map but absent from the map the Scryve are using. This is the same star map they supplied the Tywon and that Star Control is relying on. The Scryve never noticed as they cannot access the starbases left by the Precursors and they don't manually navigat

The ruins of Scryve civilian colonies bombarded by Xraki made me think there should be a side quest. When the Scryve military withdraw from nearby systems fleeing the Xraki and abandoning their civilians. Star Control could intercept a distress call, choose to defend the Scryve colonies in those sectors and perhaps this way get some Civilian Scryves allied with us. Getting access to their networks or some of their ship's schematics (perhaps not the military

If I put myself in the Captain's place and we don't have engines to create colony ships, what I would do is make use of the long abandoned colonies that I find on world that are compatible with Human life or the lives of my allies. It would give the player places to re-fuel and he could trade for minerals with the different colonies so that they could get everything they need. In the current game as it is now, there's one planet we find that has entire empty citi

I suppose one way to do that is if ship to ship battles always resulted in crashed ships in the planets of a solar system with those in hyperspace affecting which ever star system was closest. The Radiant Angel is a nice ship to have, unfortunately the one ship you can get to join your fleet can't replenish its crew because you don't have an alliance with them. Once its hits points are gone, so is the ship. There is the same issue with the Brother of the ref

This is an intermittent bug. Sometimes when I go explore a planet with a lander and there is a Ruin / Crashed Ship / Memorial there, it will be invisible. The text describing what is there underlined as is the circled (E) which indicate it can be explored but nothing is displayed there as if it was invisible.

> Its subtle, but there is a yellow/orange line under the planet name when you left click on it - this means you haven't scanned it yet. It turns green after you have completed the scan. Why not make the circle of that orbiting planet around the sun a similar color ? Yellow/orange orbit circle, not scanned, Green scanned instead of blue all the time. The underline line under the name was so subtle, i

I played the game yesterday October 9th 2018 after an update. My ship went to the sector where a vanished Alien race did extra-dimensional experiments similar to those done by the Androsynth in SC2. There were some hints that they were contacted by the Orz (*camper* references). After visiting that system, the forward part of my ship was no longer visible for a while, it was as if it had been poked in another dimension although all of the modules on my ship

When I played the game, I saw the "Hypergate" tab on the Starbase, but I took it as an ancient map to find the other Starbases. So I used the Starbases as a place to refuel and travelled the long way there with my ship. I used the Starbases to extend the reach of my ship by refueling there. I still managed to win the game but I spent a lot more RU than I should have. I realized there was a teleport feature, when I saw a video on Youtube of someo
