Multiplicity is the best on the market for PC... expanding to Linux and OSX will make it best on the planet. Even a partial would be really helpful - like just KVM.
Probably same issue but a little different because issue started while using the computers, not when shutting down: The mouse and keyboard split, with mouse on secondary computer, keyboard on primary. Hotkeys to switch computers did nothing. Holding shift to move the mouse back to the primary did not work. I shut down the secondary - no mouse. With secondary shutdown, hotkeys did not respond. I tried restarting the service with this: sc
This issue continues to occur. I did setup hotkeys to switch to the primary - this workaround is working.
This only happens when powering down the 2nd PC with mouse on that PC. If I power down that system again, I'll try using hotkey. There's no issue with heavy load or incorrect settings. The primary is unaware of the 2nd online status. I'm reporting this as a bug.
Mouse/Keyboard locked when 2nd PC turned off, only when mouse is on second PC and hold-shift seamless is enabled. Tried ctrl-alt-del, ctrl-shift-esc, reconnecting device. I'll try hotkey next time it happens. <p style="--original-color: #ffffff;
Allow fat borders. Buried in the advanced settings. Great, thanks .
When active and inactive shadow colors are grayscale, the 'recolor' works properly. When adding color to the inactive color, the active color goes gray (ignoring the recolor)
Windows -> Borders does not have adjustment for thickness? The sides are thicker then the bottom, 1-2 pixels. There's no top border?
Shadows.... 1) Adjusting shadow colors displays on-screen to all windows, until moved, then the border color setting overrides. 2) Inactive vs Active have separate settings, except the "recolor shadows" applies to both. The GUI provides no indication. In Windows tab, the borders left/right/bottom each have their own recolor mode. I'm mostly concerned with the confusion when adjusting the inactive borders, then finding that the active
What's the difference here with transparency?
That would make one confusing thread. Been there, done that. I'm really shocked with this fuss about the threads. But I'll say this... Stardock has some good software, I even recommend one of them, but the others I cannot. Curtains is new! Hopefully, the experience will improve over time by making better use of screen space, and more intuitive, to avoid the need to research solutions to simple tasks.
Jafo ... I've made my suggestions. I've been polite, reasonable, and helpful. Each suggestion has it's own thread because that is how I want them.
No thanks. I have valid points which are important to the community. I know, I help people every day with tech junk.
I prefer separate threads. Thanks anyway.
Right, I think it's right... I've done it before but this time it just wont play. The Window border options might work better, turns out both are not intuitive. For example, the default border image was like 2px - you have to edit that to make a 4px border. Seems like you can't just say 'no border' or 'solid border' sized by the margin setting. I just wanted to make a border around windows like there should be in the first place, befor
It is an opinion. Get on board with better use of data, filtering, taking an extra minute ONE TIME so that 1000s of people who use the data and interface can find what they are looking for. Tech is horrible because of this.
Why no shadows (borders)? <img style="--original-color: #000000; --original-background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/94/4094327/c5ac5abc-0a8a-4501-8aab-9ce8096575f4.jpg" alt="Shadows not showing 2" width="478" height="193"
Wrong. Yes, the developer can choose to put one thumbnail as it is. No, because Stardock can design the "add your style" to encourage developers to provide better information. There could also be additional auto-generated thumbs.
Thanks... The labels in Colors tab should be auto-set by the Window and Taskbar tabs. Offering "Taskbar" or "Titlebar" labels is a silly UI choice. This should be a non-default option in advanced called don't apply obvious labels. The best approach to tech today is to assume it makes no sense. Can Stardock can step up and do it right?
I recommend putting the setting right on the "dark/light" option. Dark Light Dark ONLY Light ONLY Many of us dark screen people do not like to e

Style Detail showing colors.
Edit Style -> Colors -> "Select ?? Color" -> Add ( selected colors for the user to choose ) This allows making a list of colors which will be visible on the main Styles page. 1. The user should see all the color choices. Currently the user has one drop down selector for "Accent / 2nd / 3rd" 2. In edit, there's way to set one of the 'add' list to be the default. 3. In edit, add the ability to copy the color list to the clipboard,
The important factors to me are... 1. Borders around windows. Microsoft derp'd this badly with 10 and of course has not bothered fixing. Kudos to Stardock, albeit 10 years late. 2. Vertical Taskbar theming applied. 3. Dark mode available. Local settings shows an icon for dark / background / colors BUT: 1. These settings are not visible on the Online listing nor on the website. 2. The above optio
