Well they should be forced to scout, i've done two other tough games since my last post, and i have no doubt that they head straight for em. i play on immense, so i'm at a massive disadvantage with all those races, ESPECIALLY the thalans who just zerg rush every single planet at warp 50 million within the first 50 turns.

Heres a new question, i've advanced from beginner all the way up to tough so far, the previous games resulted in domination. In tough, the CPU expands instantly and massively, do they need to scout planets and resources? because it doesn't seem like it, they just pump out colony ships and rush for planets that haven't been discovered yet, same with resources. I cannot keep up in the start because unlike them i have to scout.

They are called industrial centers i think, the first level of em, if not maybe you have to research them.

i disagree with making the game smaller, make it BIGGER! supreme commander guys made sc2 smaller and nobody bought it, because it sucks, but aside from that, i think the scale had somet hing to do with it. total war, sc, this game, space empries all massive strategy games, i like em. wondered around a bit. I find getting tons of stock exchanges on big planets bring in the major cash. I split evenly manufacturing planets, and economy planets, works out well, split ou t econ starbases between em, i'm in a huge war with the terrans right now we are really the only two people left. I am technologically supperior but they have a way stronger military. I'm too poor to fund a war with them as im converting some planets in

yes very helpful Now when i build starbases do their upgrades stack, meaning i could build 20 economic starbases around a planet and get a massive boost and does their buff's only work for the planets in the circle or is it empire wide? thx again
