There are many elegant and useful Blinds out there. After playing around for a while I have noticed some haves and have-nots: 1) My taskbar has taken residence at the top of my screen, but many blinds have a helpful UP arrow replacing the Start button, I worry each time that I press this button that my start menu will eject itself out of my machine. Hard to believe but I started to shut down my security software. After Avast and Zone Alarm, still no blinds. So I started to shut down Stardock. Big BINGO. ... Impulse. With Impulse running WindowBlinds works half-assed. Without Impulse, voila WindowBlinds in full fetter. Turn it on - zero; turn it off - blinds. Go figure Software should be like a toaster: plug it in and it works
The invisible titlebar problem apperas in 4 skins that I tried GT3, Sublime, StealthOS and Magnetek All 4 show the "explorer.exe" correctly, but refuse to show any other window with a visible titlebar or border. New install, new machine - Win 7 64 bit 4 mb Just purchased WinBlinds 7. Using any custom skin (eg, Sublime) all works EXCEPT the titlebars which are invisible. That is, all windows (notepad, firefox, winblinds itself) do not have min/max/exit buttons. They do not even have borders !!! The only exception is "explorer.exe" which behaves as you would expect.
