Update I did uninstall the old version. I found that regardless where the .exe file is installed the snapshot is stored in a preordained directory. The new install immediatly repopulated the fences' setup as before. No problems.

Fences 4 offers an update. The current version is installed in a different directory than the update will be installed, and no option to change the new install location. Will this be a problem or will I need to uninstall the original version, etc.?
I know this post is very old, but I have run into the same problem using ObjectDock Pluse 2. I discovered the missing disk was actually an empty USB card reader. Once I removed the card reader the problem went away.
