Hello, I am seeing issues when a group is snapped left or right. I have two identical monitors and these groups are on the rightmost monitor. In the group to the left I have Outlook O365 and Teams O365, and in the group to the right I have Take Command (CMD replacement) and P4V (Perforce Visual Client).
Hello, I am also seeing issues when a group is snapped left or right. I have two identical monitors and these groups are on the rightmost monitor. In the group to the left I have Outlook O365 and Teams O365, and in the group to the right I have Take Command (CMD replacement) and P4V (Perforce Visual Client). What I am seeing is that the left group overlaps into the monitor to the left of it as well as over lapping the group to the right. Both programs in the group to t
Thank you.
This confirms that my subscription would not apply to my wife. However, it does not answer if there is a family plan of some sort. Is there?
I have been an Object Desktop subscriber for many years (O/S 2 era) and while I only use a few of the applications now, I have kept it. My wife is wanting to be able to use Fences and Groupy on her work laptop and work desktop, so I am wondering what the best way to do this would be. I don't believe my subscription would cover her using it, but is there a discount for adding users in the family? Or would I need to either get her her own subscription or buy the individual
Working with Stardock I was able to get it working. I had the issue where Multiplicity was not listening. They sent me a link to a batch file that reinstalled the Multiplicity service. I asked them so here is the link: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/reinstall_mpp_service.bat Hopefully it will work for you too. Mark
Did you install Multiplicity via a standalone installer, SDC or Impulse?
I installed via SDC for both primary and secondary. Mark
Like MiStACoRn saw, my MPP secondary is not listening either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both primary and secondary and at this point the troubleshooting wizard sees no problem. How do I make MPP 'listen'? Using Process Explorer, the only Multiplicity program I see running is multipl.exe on both the primary and secondary machines. Thanks, Mark Update: I meant to add this. Both machines are XP SP2. The secondary is a fresh install and these two computers used t
My concern is that they were closed with no notification. If you had said exactly what you said here, that would have been fine instead of leaving me hanging. Were you able to reproduce it? Did you need more information? Did you not care? Just closing it without saying anything was the problem. Thanks, Mark
I have (had?) two support issues (one with RightClick [#GUN-830867] and one with the Virtual Desktops [#EUL-158135]) that were closed with nothing telling me why. The last response I received from Stardock was from Mike H. saying he was forwarding the information to the developers. Now I look on stardock.helpserve.com and see they are both set as close with the last replier of Jeff Bargmann. Is this the normal process? I would have thought I'd get a definitive response saying that yes it's a
I have a simple theme that I use. It has three objects and hides the desktop icons. Two of the objects remember their location when reloading the theme and one doesn't. Is it an issue with the object or with DesktopX? The object is VistaWeather. It is on the second monitor, but so is one of the objects that does remember it's location. Thanks, Mark
Yes. When DX is not running, the background looks correct: it spans both monitors. When DX is running, the same background is squished twice, once on each monitor, even though I'm telling DX not to set any background. Thanks, Mark
I tried that. Nothing worked. I don't actually want DX to set the background, so I don't have it setting anything, but I tried adjusting some of the other settings anyway. It needs to be set to tile for the background to display correctly, so I tried setting DX to that even though I don't have it actually set the background. Mark
I'm using dual monitor backgrounds from Digital Blasphemy. For them to work correctly, the background needs to be set to tile. When I'm not running DX, they work just fine. They span the two monitors with something different on each monitor. When I run DX, either in client mode or in builder mode, it seems to take the background and "stretch" it, which in this case is really squish. I don't have any background selected in my DX them and have selected tile anyway. It doesn't seem to matter.
Has anyone else seen a crash when using the iTunes Remote? I'm using the latest DX off of SDC and the latest iTunes from Apple. It will work for a while and then at some random time later, DX crashes and closes. Sometimes it's when I'm interacting with the remote and other times, I'm not even messing with anything to do with DX. Thanks, Mark PS. Yes, I've already reported this to Stardock and they don't consider it their problem.
Ok, making the taskbar taller worked. I haven't used ObjectDock in a long time (in spite of purchasing it) so maybe I'll look into using that instead. Thanks, Mark
I downloaded and applied the R.I.P. 2006 .suite. Now my system tray icons are not showing up. I had a different skin (DogmaX4) applied before with no problem. There's room like they are there and the little jack-o-lantern to show and hide them is there and moves like it's showing or hiding them but they're not there and don't respond to mouse clicks.
Great, thanks. I meant to email them as well, but then forgot. I'm getting too old. Mark
Neither ThinkSync nor SecureProcess will run, they both say they are expired and to download a new version. The current version I am seeing are: ThinkSync - 0.69e[a].003 and SecureProcess - 0.69b[a].002. Are they really expired or is there something going on on my machine? No one else seems to be complaining. Thanks, Mark
I am using MPP to control my test machine from my development machine. I have two NICs, one for regular network traffic and the other dedicated to remote kernel debugging. When something happens to cause the test machine to blue screen (of course it's always someone elses code since mine's perfect ) and the test computer reboots, MPP on my development machine won't reconnect. This seems to have started when I added the second, dedicated N
