@Milskidasith first of all, calling me a Scrub is not classy. i thought you made some good points in your first post so I wanted to clarify my position. i didn't expect to be insulted for doing so. you got up on the wrong side of bed today or something? what we are on agreement with is that this game needs a proper Resign or Concede option very badly. please try to understand the reason i said what i did.

So.... you are saying that the UB isn't overpowered, because in order to beat him the Sedna has to completely change her build and then the UB just can't win, but won't lose, while the UB has to do nothing to change his build? See, that right there IS overpowered. A character shouldn't have to spend their favor item and starting build specifically to counter one enemy demigod.
Not really. It's the last choke; anybody can hold it indefinitely. Late bloomers like Regulus can indefinitely hold the choke with a single Erebus and level up. Here's the scenario: One team is dominating. It's the final tower block. They foolishly purchased giants, which are free EXP to those towers. Suddenly, after a 30 minute stalemate, Regulus warps over, captures their artifact tower, and comes in angel winged with an ashkandor, cloak of fire
Yeah you had me up until the noob bashing. Really, you are being a bit elitist in saying that noobs aren't classy. You should treat everyone equal reguardless of their skill level. Simple as that. I'm a noob, does that make ME not classy? I take offense to that because I see myself as a good sport. In essence you're saying you're better than (not in skill but in demeanor, importance, ect.) a noob only
you stayed in the losing game because you're classy and that's how its done. you see things through to the end because thats the classy thing to do. its not about the favor points, its just a way of life. and when you stick it out, you don't delay the end of the game by taking a stand at the choke point on crucible. you stand at the health crystal and do nothing so your opponents can win faster relative to having a dumb AI keep fighting. being a team player is
Also, a lot of the abilities are obviously weaker copies of other abilities.... tantrum is a slightly different, more random version of hammer smash, stay and play is like mass charm but suckish (enemies can still attack, doesn't stun creeps long enough to even enjoy the benefits of creeps attacking the opposing demigod), bear hug is just foul grasp all over again, palpable fury is just a crappy version of ooze (and I mean REALLY crappy; you either have UB, who gets 200 DPS for something that
The game measures in yards, not feet. For a second I read the first ability and was like "dude.... why the hell is he giving them an AoE snipe?"
So.... wait, he can just swallow an enemy demigod and win that way?
It kind of mismatches with the story that all of the Demigods were formed by the Progenitor and a mortal consort (though the UB does that as well). But I like the concept. One of his attacks should be that he is ALWAYS like mist form in Erebus; whenever he is touching an enemy, he is constantly dealing damage and draining life. I also think it is hard to keep up with the concept of highly tough demigod when he is an extremely slow melee character;
I have DSL, and I don't have many problems. Well, I have problems with the fact my latency to everybody is like 200~300 MS in the lobby, but during the match it rarely lags (a few lag spikes here and there, but nothing unbearable.)
I do like the 3d element though, they need vertical fighting in this game.
Please. As if Regulus wasn't enough of a monster late game with early game harrasement, you also want most all of the other heroes to be ganked by him before even getting into range?
Every demigod sometimes has problems where they will freeze until given a move/attack order and not use any skills. For some reason, if they aren't attacking, sometimes they also won't be using skills... This really affects people who rely on timing for their skills or skill spam more than anybody else, especially against enemies who stun. I can't count the number of times I have barely survived or died in an encounter I should have won because a stun cancelled my attacks (while
I have the same problem. What's worse is that I got stalled at my first 400 favor; any game I would win would theoretically give me enough favor to get my swift anklet... but it never happened. :( I just got it like 3 games ago.... 10 games overdue, imo.
this is a shout out to all the class acts who play DG. i played with a few of you tonight and had fun even when i was losing to you. you were a good loser even when I beat you. you know who are you. You're a Classy Guy. You've got style and grace. You're a good opponent and a good team-mate and a fun guy. Here's why: 1) You stay to the end of every game even when you're losing. even if you extend the GG bef
Ok, so I was playing a match online. We were getting curbstomped (long story short; I went with a good Erebus build and was doing OK in the beginning, our sedna refused to attack because he was roleplaying as the "pacifist," and our rook had no clue what he was doing and charged up to enemies between towers and hammer smashed. Lucky this was against AI, but one of them was a nightmare Ooze UB, so he was pretty much invunerable. >. Anyway, I was getting hit pretty hard,
The way you set up the lava screwed one team over entirely... Lava should flow symmetrically, and increase as more fighting takes place around the top of the volcano. Also, this map would work just as well in 2d as in 3d, because you could just make it so that there is land between the paths instead of a height difference (to eliminate potential balance issues with ranged characters getting potshots at melee characters/minions climbing the mountain.) Also, no random fireballs.
Getting zero is better until there is a concede option; ten is worthless, you can't "learn" anything when the enemy heroes are three levels higher than you and the only reason you haven't lost yet is because they can't break your static defenses, and banlists are stupid. The losing team does deserve more favor, and favor should be awarded for more than just certain awards; it would be annoying to be a 10 kill 8 assist 2 death player when your best was a 12 kill 10 assist 0 death playe
