Issue resolved by editting the pref file to proper resolution of my monitor (1680x1050). Ignore previous post! Thanks

Cannot load game. Get a black screen on start that never loads up (Screen only partially fills my screen...) I can alt+f4 close or task manager close to get rid of it. Updated my nVidia drivers and my BIOS. Running Win XP Pro SP3. 4GB ram 2.8 Intel Core 2 duo.. nVidia 8600 card.
