You cannot have giants before catapults so I disapprove of your usage of "and/or" in the title.

Amazing, this is almost *exactly* how I play my rook. It never occured to me to save points tho, great idea! I just upgrade Gods Hammer whenever I have extra points but I hardly get to use it until later anyway since I don't have the mana. Skipping structural transfer and stats seems obvious, and HoL is the best item for Rook and the only one he really needs. After HoL I spend everything on citadel upgrades for sudden domination. For favor item I love amulet of teleportation, especial
I've been playing Rook heavily lately. I max towers ASAP as well, but I think that Rook's Tower of Light should be taken ASAP. It's deadly in combination with his towers. Structural Transfer and Stats are skipped in favor of his hammer. Yes it's hard to land but it's the highest damaging spell in the game, and it's AOE, and it slows when maxed. Itemwise I just get one single item: Heart of Life. I get Amulet of Teleport as favor item, skip any consumables and start saving for th
No, I play online, Pantheon. Favor is bugged, yes, I played a couple of games with the TP favor item and then suddenly it was gone and I had NEGATIVE favor points! Today it seems to work again tho ... I disagree with leveling the 'tower suck' skill UNLESS your purpose is to really push. I tried it and it doesn't work too well. Early game the regen is not enough to offset the damage you take from towers, lategame you don't care anymore. I changed my mind about getting the + stat skill,
Is this the complaining thread? Anyway, here goes: I absolutely agree with the OP, seeing enemy and ally MP, items AND DAMAGE would add great depth to the game. I come from DotA and it's really frustrating that a decade-old game got these things better than a brand-new one. The lack of information supplied in Demigod is extremly frustrating. When playing a general and selecting your army if would be really good to have a status screen to see what exactly you have in your army, HP bars for eve
Well, I never seemed to have a really good reason to take down towers that early ... In any case two more item suggestions: the favor item that allows you to teleport around the map seems to be the best choice for Rook given his slow movement speed and necessity to be somewhere quick when defending is needed. The other one is the 4000 red sphere thingy that regenerates 3000 HP and mana over 10 seconds, plus 50% mana plassive and 15HP/s passive. This item is unbelievable, you'll
I've been focusing on towers, turrets, then boulder and maybe some stats, skipping hammer completely and it's working pretty well. Hammer is hard to land right and any opponent with half a brain will avoid it, plus you don't really have the mana to sustain it. I also skip the building suck thing, it's only useful to heal you some so you're better off with potions. Itemwise I just get a cheap mana and a cheap HP item, some consumables, then focus on upgrading the citadel. If the game l
