When facing 3 Diamond/2 Platinum teams, it is usually best to go with champs that you know well and have build options that go beyond Glass Cannon. Not really the case with Pacov's Kha'zix choice I'm sure. Musta been frustrating, but no need to let games like that color your perception of Kha'zix. Yes, the first clip is of JCVD cruising to victory because his entire team is using an item so blatantly OP that it makes the days of League Of Cleavers seem not so bad. The second clip is of Channing Tatum thinking that having a jungler will make up for having your poor top laner feeding his 10th death while being inhibitor dove at the 20 minute mark by two Relic equipped bruisers.

I haven't run into the level 9 player, but yeah that would be frustrating and I can think of no alternative aside from going Donger Support or all of a sudden having to go for a silly reason. When I was learning to play I realized that I completely threw off the whole game when playing with you guys since I didn't have the champs, masteries, runes, or skill to keep up. So I don't understand the mentality of the guy who isn't level 30 but wants to play in those game
LOL Fair enough. Just remember that the casual-competitive vibe can swing either way with these games, and playing non-meta stuff might help steer the night's games more in the Maokai Mid direction.
Karl, I'll try and send you some more invites when they've got some competitive games brewing. I know that's more your thing but you've been busy with ranked haven't been available when we have the Gold and above crew going. Hopefully you don't think the games are more trollish than they really are, but to be fair there has been a lot of Heimer supports running around recently for some reason.

It's a fantastic idea, but I do see some drawbacks. The way I see it is that Support players like you and I who have actually put some effort into getting good at the role and staying current with the meta, give our team an advantage in a lot of games. We fill an unpopular role which helps the rest of our team fall into roles they're more likely to enjoy playing and hopefully ones they're more likely to do well in. The other team?
