You'll enjoy x-mas more if you put off starting "the x-mas season" as long as possible. Just because stoares sell x-mas stuff in early fall doesnt mean you have to shop for it. I ALWAYS wait till the last week. Not really because I put it off, but because I dont even get that "xmas spirit" until about a week or so before hand. I do it this way and I spend one long day at the mall, and then maybe a second trip elsewhere to finish for people i couldnt find gifts in the store.

7. And teaching you how to speak just like me! That one will be fun. I suggest either doing a few words at a time, or preparing a decently long explaination or story of origin for a particular word. This way people will be more interested rather than just reading a 2 line blog. Of course maybe you were already planning on that.

If you chose the first option by the submit button.....the one that says: Convert carriage return line breaks to standard HTML ''. Then your text would retain it's line-by-line format. Of course mayb eyou intended it to show up in basic format.

thanks for the re-assurance. :) The site is looking better and better ever day, with more and more features popping up. And it's obviously being done properly. This is the only live website I've seen that hasnt encoutnered serious technical issues and data wipes as it is developed. Usually a web site is either held back till it's "Ready" and then never enhanced again, or its seriously unstable as it's getting modified. good stuff here.

I cant wait for this personally. There have actually been many times I've wanted to take an image, or logo or something and set it as a shortcut icon, or file-type icon (cause so many program use very ugly icons) But I'd be damned if I was going to take the time to convert it to icon, make sure all the sizes are right etc. I probably could have just important to 32x32 and 16x16 as that would suffice for what i want.....but it always seemed like a whole lot of work to do someth

Currently the "Channel View" is a little broken. From the main JoeUser.com page if i click on a channel at the top, for instance "Politics" it shows me the last few posts made to that catagory. However, trying to add a comment from that page fails, and it also doesnt have the new post format that includes a link to the user's blog. (thanks btw!) Must just be an overlooked page that wasnt updated.

I think the short answer to why online music services suck is because the recording industry hasnt put their money behind it yet. Further more, I suggest that if you want to pay for your music to support musicians that you DON'T buy from online music distributors. They're just one more middle man taking a cut of the money.

Wow i cant wait for this. In Win9x i occasionally replaced the boot screen, but it never seemed worth the trouble with Win2k/XP, especially not with the limited color format: "All that work for an ugly image".

I do love the concept alot. The only fear i have of it is if it gets "too big". Right now it's great, mostly because of the channels. If someone feels like looking something up on a particular subject matter, they can do so and it gives the bloggers a good chance to get new visitors.
