that's ridiculous. Is it just the 8800gtx? Does nvidia know and if so, could I ask them for a new card, maybe the 9800gtx? And again, I don't have this problem with any other games. Just stardock ones.
Lately I seem to be having a problem with Stardock games. In every game thus far, I can play for anywhere between 15min and 5 hours before the screen goes black and then flickers on and off as it tries to reset the display drivers. I can do one of two things. ctrl+alt+del and force quit the program where minor things like internet and the like are useable but if I try starting the game again, it instantly goes to the black on/off problem.
