Cannot register as Stardock registration does not work in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

Hi All Installed gamestop, Installed Sins and Entrenchment and Diplomacy through Gamestop, Click Play, Stardock registration comes up, Fill in e-mail, password, and product code and click register ...... NOTHING HAPPENS AT ALL!!!! Tried 1) Re-install 2) Set SDActvate to Compatibility Win7, Vistasp2,sp1,no sp, XP sp3,2,1,No SP. ( I am running Windows 8) 3) Tried running directly from Install folder from Both Normal .exe. and dev.exe <

Wow, super cool, Love the older systems, Now the AMD 3000+ is not a bad chip, does overclock as well easily to 2.3ghz even with stock cooler if the Mobo allows it, enough ram as well, I guess the thing is how much longer you will keep the system and how much is it worth spending the extra money on a graphics card for it, Now the 1650 Pro is definately a step up on the 9600 and you will notice a difference, and for the amount spent its a worthwile upgrade, here is a good example on new

I had a 1950 Pro, the card above the 1650, Agree with Blitz^$, only if its AGP, if you have PCIeX then you are better off with a newer card than a 1650. The best agp card made is the Ati 3850 but it would be stunted by a single core processor, so value for money the 1950pro would be the one to go for, What Screen resolution are you going to run at, what are your other system specs, CPU, RAM, HDD, OS and what games do you play?

Have played a couple more games now in Entrenchment, and yes i do feel they are sending in more re-inforcements now in battles, they do seem to be staying longer in battles where they are outnumbered by a small margin, Research is a key part to numbers as well, If you have 20% more firepower but 10 % less ships you are still stronger through research. MyColors, Impulse and Multiple Boot Enviroments in MyColors Stardock Forums

I was just wondering if anyone else has used Impulse to download MyColors in a multi Boot Enviroment and what the Implications to the Licencing are. I currently run 4 Vista installations, one Windows 7 and two XP Pro all 32bit on my PC using a multi boot enviroment and two installations of Vista 32bit on my studio 17 laptop. I would like to have a different theme of My colors on the four Vista Installations according to what they do. Am I able to install Impulse and Install MyCo

Just Installed Diamond and all works perfectly well, Try changing screen resolution abck and forward or checking drivers, running hd4870 with 9.2 catalyst drivers on Vista 32bit

Going to try it again now on a smaller map with one Unfair Ai, think my first game had too many planets and two few Ai, Resources drain never became an issue.

Have only played it once since updating, against 4 hard ai, and it seemed easier to me, Especially the End Game, through whole game only got attacked three times by one Ai with large incursion, which was not hard to counter with equal retalliation, Would like to see more random actions in Ai and also, the "Our Home world is being attacked, All forces retreat from attack and defend home planet" instead of "Oh Well, we travelled across five different planets and we are here now so lets fo

Yup, got ythis after clicking on star in system, build que items fir ships there and if you click on them you get no frigate factories built message. Does not seem to affect game though, just a small visual bug really

Hmm, Using Vista Home Premium and MyColors uninstalls easily from Programs and leaves everything as it should, I think XP behaves differently, I remeber using Windows Blinds on a XP install once and it did pretty much the same thing, the way it changes the OS on XP is one that is not easily put back to the pre-install state, but then I think this ws explained in the windows blind install at the time of install.
