There were several (Mail , Store, OSMaps, Weather, News, Photos, Google, Music, People, Messaging, Games, Calender & National Rail) that were turned on, and I turned them all off in one go rather than separately, as in 'Trial & Error'. Sorry I cant recall what the error code was as I did'nt make a note. BTW I'm running Win8 Pro 64bit with McAfee NetProtector.

I think this may be due to having certain 'Live tile' Apps activated on the Metro screen. I had the same problem till I right-clicked on the actual Tiles/Apps and turned off the live tile. This gave me an error code when I then shut down the PC but its been behaving since, and booting straight to desktop. [e digicons]:D[/e]
