Please post what you feel like. As there really is not a topic geared towards this, would be nice to have. Whatever Stardock is fixing that is great, but there are still things being left out and can be quite important. I have quite a fast computer, internet, and everything up to date, so I highly doubt most of these are me if it is of technical aspect. It is not the developers fault, to the guy who posted above, you are completely right. He is a gamer and I assume he spends quite a bit of time on his PC, knowing his router and how to work with it will do him good. I did not know how to port forward my router until I could not host games in Warcraft, now it is pretty ezy pzy.
"Demigod Review Postponed on Account of Game Don't Work" Somebody who capitilizes words like that and who says "don't work" should not be taken seriously.
Let me ask those who think we should get a 2 or whatever this: The Gamespot review will live on forever. But the problems connecting in multiplayer will likely be gone in another few days. And, I should point out that a lot of the problems people are experiencing are due to having so many more users on day 1 than we had expected. If we had, for instance, sent out review copies of Demigod say tomorrow, we would likely end
Is anyone else having failed to join game or anything of the sort? Is it because the MP servers are not up or?

Steam can be great, just depends on your microphone and such.
Ah, I was a beta tester since like Jan or whatever. My key was not working like everyone elses since last night and I heard we could d/l today. I tried this morning after office hours, uninstalled the game, redownloaded and was able to go online and play.
If the game was released so early and so many apparent pre-orders, why is there hardly any custom games online? I think I saw one about 10 minutes ago. Could be because of school I suppose, but has it been like this?
Good, keep kicking them until they realize how dumb it is to pirate games before they are actually released.
You can not even play the game, you do know that right?
Exactly, well put. Thank you.
If the game has ladders and competition, it will need to have a feature to play replays Black. Simple as that.
So basically, we're getting serials throughout Tuesday, the release date, then downloading a several gig game before finally playing it? Bah, most digital downloads offer the game beforehand and then send you a serial to unlock to avoid several potential issues.. (*Recalls AoC preview weekend download fest nightmare*) Not sure how hammered the servers will be, but Tuesday is my "Sunday" and I was hoping
A page will likely be put up after release, then you'll just go there to add it to your cart and check out as with a normal purchase.
My friend also bought it online already, what do you mean page? He would have preferred to get it in the store but found out he could not participate in the beta anymore. Is there anyway for him to change that?
Maybe. If Cevo picked it up it would get a good rep.
Quoting PossiblyImpossible, reply 1 - The developers should have been more willing to make significant changes in gameplay and concept as suggested by testers. This means that the time frame for testing and development probably could have been a bit longer, but more than anything it means the developers ought to have viewed testers as people involved in the development process, not merely as "taste-t

Graphics: 10/10 Graphics are great. Gameplay: 9/10 Some leaves me wanting more, that does not outweight me not wanting to come back. Deinately need more Demigods, as well as maps. Maps: 8/10 Only six right now, if you release this game with just 6, I really think you are going to get a ton of reviews talking about it. Soooo many RTS's come out with like 20+ maps, you certainly can do the same. In fact, basically required to
lol..big deal.
If you do not have connections down and friends lists in online play, your game will fail.

That was my whole point, even though they are the same genre, you can barely compare them as they are so different. Get a brain before you quote any of my posts please.
What? You just quoted me for no reason.
