How come there are ...no online games?

If the game was released so early and so many apparent pre-orders, why is there hardly any custom games online?  I think I saw one about 10 minutes ago.

 

Could be because of school I suppose, but has it been like this?

Games technically not released till tomorrow.  Only beat testers have it now and anyone who went to gamestop since they broke ocntract and released early.

make sure u install the impulse client and update the game. Yesterday i played around 8 games with 3 to 4 games running at all time.

Even Beta players didn't have it. Our keys were temporarily disaibled a week before release. They only just re-enabled them (a day early) because of Gamestop's early release.

Also, I think Stardock's servers weren't ready for the game as it was not supposed to be released yet, so that might have had something to do with it too

Same. I've got my jailbroken iPhone linked to my home rig and I'm going to start the download remotely from work as soon as I get the email so it's ready when I get back ;)

Well, that works. I was actually just sleeping, woke up to get a drink and decided to check. Didn't realize they started this early. Ah, no key yet so not like I missed anything. I'm sure they're in a hustle over there.

Gamestop broke their contract and released Demigod early, so now Stardock is letting their preorders start playing a day early. They would have started earlier, but it was Easter weekend and there was no one at Stardock to set everything up.

Ah, I was a beta tester since like Jan or whatever.  My key was not working like everyone elses since last night and I heard we could d/l today.  I tried this morning after office hours, uninstalled the game, redownloaded and was able to go online and play.
