Recently I was trying to make my desktop icons larger on my Win7 64 bit desktop. I know of several ways to do this but when I tried to access "Windows Color and Appearance" by choosing Personalize so I could open "Classic Appearance Properties" it wasn't part of the menu. It's been awhile since I tried that approach so I don't remember what version of WindowsBlinds I had since last I was able to go into it. I currently run v.8. I have IconPackage 5.10 on Win7 64 bit. I had to reformat my drive and so I reinstalled the program. Previously it allowed me to change some Control Panel Icons but it no longer shows this section. I have checked the box in system settings/control panel icons to allow this but to no avail. Any help?
Is this even possible to do or is it like adding an image to the left side of an explorer folder - not possible?
Correct and I tried to insert an image (it does show up behind the solid wall of color). I used a png and bmp image in "Left Hand Side - All Program Mode" but to no avail.
Since everybody was great in answering my last question, I thought I would ask about something else. My question deals with the left side of the start menu - programs list. When I hit the "All Programs" button I get a solid color (with a list of my programs). I have been able to place an image behind this wall of color and it shows through at the top and bottom but I would like to remove the color wall. How can I do that?
As an experiment, I'll try a JPG image just to see if it will work.
Creating and importing the same image in PNG did the trick but I really don't know why as I have done this with BMP images but no matter. Thanks for the other tips everyone.
Thanks guys, I will look into each reply and let you know. As far as animation - no there wasn't.
I have tried to create the "Please Wait" Image but it does not appear. I am using a bmp image. I have done this before on different skins. I'm running Win7 64 bit. WB 7.42 version - any assistance?
How does one edit an existing soundpackage?
