Is this any faster? I uninstall Impulse a good while back becasue it was sooooooooooooooo slow. Stardock Center is 3x faster. This seems like it would be great if the spead could be fixed. I have Cable with 5 mb, so I don't believe it is my services. My system is very high impact also. Any improvement on this download and opening problem? Even with Impulse in startup it is terrible slow loading along with the update downloading.

Where are the downloaded Vista Logons stored? (i.e. ones from WinCusotmize). I followed the thread mentioned above and only saw the "default" ones with the program. Even did a search and only found the defaults. They must be somewhere!!! Please help! I have two computers and it is easier to just copy. Also, I have had my abundant share of problems with Vista and keep reformating....Learn, Learn, Learn. Any help and advise will be greatly appreciated. :NOTSURE:

Help with networking a new laptop computer (Asus) in Personal Computing WinCustomize Forums

I need some help with my problem. Called Microsoft for 2 hours today and got NO WHERE! I recently got a Asus Laptop (Model W7J). After setting up the network on the laptop (desktop was already setup), I made sure I had all the folders and drives indicated for "sharing". I need to purchase a new powerful desktop and wanted some advice. I currently have a custom built unit with Intel 4 - 3.0 CPU, 2 hard drives, dvd-rw, cd-rw, 1.0 gig ram. Hey, guys! Thanks for all the suggestions. I have went to the device manager and updated the drivers on all my USB's (there were 12 listed!). They all said "could not find a better driver." I intend to go the Bios, but I don't feel I am real good in that area, but I sure want to be. Christ TH: I am running WinXP Prof. It has Service Pack 2 and is updated. I check for updates weekly. The MoBo did have a CD of drivers, but since I did a Bios update in December, it will not even open the CD!!!! I have downloaded the .inf file and the ethernet file. I have seen that there is an updated Bios, so I do probably need to do that. I believe I have the most recent drivers from Intel. As for the USB devices, the ones giving me proble

I recently uninstalled macromedia (I guess Flash, but I know they have several programs). Now every time I start the computer it automaticly opens the browser and goes to the macromedia download page. I even put the D.... thing back on and it still does this. Skin Studio Professional in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I saw on the Joe User sight where you can change your icon colors to match your themes. I went into Skin Studio (which incidentally, don't know much about) and did not see any of the icon packager themes or icon packager. It does reflect the window blinds themes. Thanks, Essencay. Off hand, I remember one docket that has to do with mail notification...MAPI Email NOtifier. I will check out the comments. I have gotten "Power Off", "Start Menu" and "Run" without any problems. Is there a way to put access to a drive on a collection? I tried through the browse, but it did not work. The best I can do is "My Computer". I have 4 drives (2 internal, 2 external) and I am always going to different ones to get what I need. It would be great to have them list

Object Dock Plus - Docklets not all working in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I recently got the OD+ and am learning alot. It is a good program. The docklets included with it work real well, but alot of ones I have tried to install from WC, go no where?! Some work okay, but most don't even show up in my docklet list. Any suggestions what I am doing wrong? What is SKD?

Object Dock Plus - Help customizing in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I downloaded the OD+ several days ago and had a good bit of trouble understanding, but a lot of you out there sent some great advice. I am asking again! I do not see where I can change the tab color unless I use a collection which is color set. If I select a color under "tab" it will change the tab color but not the surrounding areas (of tabs; changes the icon background) that borders it. Also, is there no place to change the tab labels' color? Most are either white or black. One last thin

Thanks everyone!!! This is great. I believe initially I did not have the "plus" version installed. I tried the OD first, then ordered and installed plus, but what I had previously did not look like what I have now. I uninstalled OD+, deleted folders and reinstalled. You are all right...I believe with time I will understand this program well. I have alot to learn and will most likely post some more questions, but what you have all given me helps so much. I don't think I would learn anything

ChasUGC: Thanks for your response. There is soooo much, it is hard to begin, but I will try. I see alot of themes on WC. I assume I can download them, install (although I don't know how!) and then be able to apply them under the "Load Themes". I tried this several times, but none of them showed up. I believe I understand that a person has to cusomize his own theme, but adding programs, etc. that you want on the OD, but I thought the whole purpose of a theme was so that most of it was there

Helpt with Object Dock ... How do I install items ... in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

All of the Object Dock images that can be downloaded on WC, how do I install them. I bought the Plus version thinking it would have some directions, but did not; nor is there any help area. I tried several of the themes on WC and downloaded, tried to install and apply. Normally it is saying I don't have Object Dock installed! I'm looking at it, so what gives. When I looked at the video prior to buying OD, it showed all of the great themes, etc. Well I don't see any of that in the program.

ChasUGC and Paxx: The card I have has 256 ram. I have spent most of the day today on the phone with MSI (video manufacturer) and Samsung. MSI support, I believe is questionable, as no one told me with digital you cannot adjust the screen (i.e. move left, right, up, down, this I figured out on my own going back and forth between digital and analog. Analog showed the screen adjustmentdigital did not. Sure wish the unit had direct controls on it, but it does not. It is all software controled
