Hi again... That's the rub.. Objectdock is 'Paid for' by us the user's and as such it's not performing as it should. I have decided to switch to Nexus for now at least, as it works seamlessly and has similar functionality thatObjectdock claims to have. It's very customisable so far I am impressed with it. Not as easy to setup but can look stunning if that's what you want. For now I'll give Stardock a miss which is a pity after a long relationship with their software. I

Hi and thanks for your response. As I had already posted I have already done exactly what you suggested. But to prove a point I did it all again. Result is the same. Sometimes the dropdown dock will respond quickly. Other times however the dock will not drop down no matter how often I try clicking the top of the screen. I tried putting a quick launch dock to the left of the screen and found that it too was random in it's behaviour. This sems to be a well known p
II'll own up.... To my horror I had sent the email in error. Instead of sending it to Ashampoo I had an OAP moment, a brain fart, a Doh Homer Simpson moment call it whatever you want... My humiliation is total. Please accept my apology for the error. Once again... Kind regards for your time and assistance. Ken McFall
I have previously sent a request for assistance with activation of PDF Pro 3 after a fresh install of Windows 11. I am more than a little annoyed that I was not given the curtesy of a reply. I have purchased a lot of your products and have never seen there is a limit to the number of times it can be installed, even on the same hardware. My previous request was ignored and this reflects very poorly on Stardock's treatment of it's good users customers. I would appreciate a
Hi... I have been having problems with Object Dock 3 autohide feature not unhiding. It can take many many attempts and a very long time to get the dock to drop. I have seen that others have experienced similar problems but the solutions advised have not worked. I have the following hardware etc... AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Asus motherboard TUF Gaming. Windows 11 24h2 build 26100.448 All up to date. My system has been freshly installed an
I have an autohide dock at the top of my screen. It hides itself but it very difficult to get it to drop down again. I have tried setting to Instant and every other step in the performance setting but it still refuses to drop down in a reasonable time. This makes the dock very frustrating to use and defeats the point of ussing it. Can anyone help please. One other question, can I install my stardock purchases on two ps's in my home? Thanks for your time and assistance.
Same problem here. For two days I've tried paypal or card payment and they both repeatedly fail! Very frustrating...
As I originally stated sometimes it will lock/unlock but this appears to be random after a reboot. Maybe there should be a lock function in the configuration panel? Really getting fed up with this situation and may as well go back to version 3. Not much in 4 to make the hassle worth the time wasted.
Hi yet again.... I'm running a fresh windows 11 install using the plain windows 11 taskbar and right click context menu. Nothing has been changed. Nothing is working correctly in fences!
OK.... Tried as suggested but still have no control over the lock function or configuration. Anything else I should try?
Hi and thanks for your reply. Windows version is 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1413) Fences version 4.10 So here we go... Fences will install fine and seem to be running OK. However if I attempt to lock the fences, the option is there but does not work. The same applies if the fences are locked, I cannot unlock them. In addition if I right click the desktop or a fence I can see the view/configure fences but it will not open the configuration screen. The only way I
I am running fences 4 latest version. I cannot lock or unlock fences variously.I have done three purge/reinstall but the problems persist... I cannot either lock or unlock fences. The problem changes with a fresh install but it is very annoying to say the least as it is easy to accidentality drag a fence etc. It's clearly a fences problem. I'm running latest Windows 11 and have done fresh installs all with no change.
In the font dialogue there is a Script dropdown box, just below the Sample box, that appears to do nothing! Can anyone say what this for and how to use it. Thanks for your time and assistance.
Hi... I'm a long time user of Fences and find it very useful and would not be without it. I have recently got into using folder portals to save taking up hard drive space on my system drive and to reduce the size of backup image files. There is one thing I don't know how to do, if it's at all possible. There seems not to be any way of sorting files into a folder portal. This is again a method to reduce space taken up on my system drive and to ensure the files are not lost should there
This is a 'recent' phenomenon and I have spent quite some time working on it. I have found that the size of the desktop icons has an effect on the problem. Press and hold 'ctrl' key and scroll the mouse wheel up/down and your desktop icons will change size. I found that I could change the size and the effect of the problem reduced dramatically. I found I had to change just one mouse click of the wheel to reduce the size sli
Same issue here. Whenever you do anything on the desktop it forces a refresh. The icons move all over the place, possibly their original locations before Fences was installed, and after the screen is redrawen the icons move to their correct lositions. This can take up to 10 or more seconds. I have gone back to an earlier build of Windows 10, 15007, which does not have this affliction. I know you don't support beta builds of windows but this 'problem' has been carri
Hi all.... I was also having this very annoying problem since changing to Windows 10. My solution is to go to.... ObjectDock settings. then select Troubleshooting options. then UnSelect the six option boxes. This has worked perfectly for me. You can try unselecting each option in turn until the problem returns. I didn't bother as it was running fine again.
