Just curious if there will be any kind of sprite editor, maybe something as simply as changing the colors by having the ability to paint the pixels.

But in all seriousness, i believe the d3d9.dll is a directx file giving directx functionality for 3d applications such as games.It sounds like this might be corrupted missing or in conflict. Are you using Windowblinds or skinstudio or my colors to install the theme? Where is your wow and eq directory (all or either in your c:/public folders?). First, make sure you have window blinds program as well. When I had this problem it was because WB did not install completely nor did the themes (i had icons and wallpapers but the taskbar was reverting back to windows classic). I was using Impulse to download and install programs and that is where the problem was for me as it turns out because Vista was blocking the complete install. hey guys, now i'm confused, i am a new owner of objectdesktop and i understand i get a full year of updates for free but that is it right? the themes for sale at stadock.com and wincustomize (master skins) only show i get a portion off the price, but they are not free. the only thing that is free that comes with the subscription is the year of updates...oh and i believe stardock will give its members 4 free themes a year that they pick for us (just got burgundy gloss in my downloads section o
Are you running windows vista? Did you install WB from Impulse? I had similar symptoms and came to find out that for me, the problem was that when I was installing WB from impulse, it was not actually installing the full WB, it was leaving out files (such as the actual skins).I had to go back an run impulse as Admin (right click impulse icon and specifically select this option, even though my account was only account and admin privlidged). I have been working on my first skin (yay) in skin studio prof 6. At this point I have completed the start panel and the taskbar, when i go to apply the skin in skin studio it applies correctly and all seems well, however, when i go back into photoshop to edit another image, all my options in photoshop cs3 are greyed out (eventhough its open and i'm in it), litteraly everything is greyed except the option to open a file, which i do and everything stays greyed out even with image in ps). Thanks for your responses, it seems this issue was related to another issue I was having which I managed to figure out how to fix. For me, it was a matter of running Impulse as Admin (instead of left clicking impulse icon) the first time to install desckapes, windows blinds ect from Impulse. Now evertyhing works perfectly. (Not running impulse for the first time as admin...eventhough my user account is admin privliged, resulted in the apps saying they where downloading but they were not
Thank you zubaz. I am also working with Iamdean from stardock to hopefully figure out what is different about my system (posted in another thread relating to impulse). FYI, now i do not need to specifically select run as admin...it seems i only need to do this when i plan to instal something new from impulse.
Same problem here. Just installed object desktop the other day and when i try to apply a theme through them manager, the background loads and some of icons load, but the taskbar and all windows revert to old school basic windows windows and taskbar. and one the weather gadget loads. i am using windows vista premium home on hp pavilion laptop (just bought new a month or so ago), nvidia graphics card, 2gs ram, ect. (sorry at work so i cant post system info).
I am running windowblinds and mycolors (installed the objectdesktop premium suite and got all the updates from impulse). My windows experience score is a 3 (most all scores are 4 and 5, except my graphics which is 3). I am not sure what you mean by posting system info for windowblinds or my colors. do you mean process info..like how much memory used? ect?
