Applying Custom Skin Disables Photoshop?

I have been working on my first skin (yay) in skin studio prof 6. At this point I have completed the start panel and the taskbar, when i go to apply the skin in skin studio it applies correctly and all seems well, however, when i go back into photoshop to edit another image, all my options in photoshop cs3 are greyed out (eventhough its open and i'm in it), litteraly everything is greyed except the option to open a file, which i do and everything stays greyed out even with image in ps). I can exit ps and restart computer and do everything but nothing changes. The only option i have for working in photoshop is to apply another theme. I have tested the basic windows default and quest and gloss burgundy and all work fine with photoshop when applied, it is only when i make a custom theme that this occurs. I have deleted the custome theme several times and just reapplied all the images and settings with the same results...very weird. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I've had to exclude PS from being skinned because a few skins don't cooperate well with it, as you've seen. There has to be something with the skin that's causing the conflict, don't know what though.

Oh and just to be clear, i'm not applying a custom skin to photoshop (havent updated the skin there yet).

Thanks for the responses, both answered my questions. 2of3, the solution posted in the thread you linked resolved the problem for me as well it seems, what an odd glitch.

Glad to help :D

It took a while, but I've finally gotten used to using Photoshop not maxed.
