I've seen some RoDM oak builds. It's interesting seeing an oak running one way clearing creeps while his minions go another and take down towers all alone. The ability it comes with is a good way to make a big army from a small army quickly. It's probably better for oak then erebus because oak's spirits are already higher hp, and have much better mobility.

I waddled into playing erebus recently, so I just had to make it up as I went along. I ended doing some funky minion assassin hybrid. I got charm too late, and found myself dumping points into to try and make it more effective. I ended up putting a lot of pts into improved conversion aura early - I think too early. I certainly was not the strongest on my team because of it.

Right now, damage items aren't as effective as health ones. If you stack health, and the other guys stack damage, he's going to die. There are two places for damage items: They are very effective during the early game (mards+gloves) and again when coupled with lifesteal items. I would say that damage items need a small buff - something like inherent attack speed or lifesteal bonuses in every item, and increase the bonuses for items that already have such a bonus.

Exanchorite and I played a game today. It seems he has a wireless connection. I used to have a wireless network, but because of it's unreliability for gaming I eventually just wired up my house. The problem with wireless is that it gets jammed by pretty much everything. Wireless routers operate at 2.4 Ghz, as so phones, and microwaves leak some 2.4 as well. When this happens, you wireless connection starts to drop packets. If you have to play on wireless, make sure you are clo

I'm not sure if this is a problem for other DGs or not, or if this is a product of lag, but I found that if you play regulus and use mark on a distant enemy so that reg persues, you won't be able to issue a snipe command on that target without first issuing a move command - it doesn't seem to abort the attempt at marking until you actually catch up to and mark the enemy. I'd expect that the snipe command to abort the mark command.

In the vein of this thread I have some advice for playing reg. I agree with Cind3ers assessment: You have to play an aggressive reg to help win. You have to get into fights. You have to snipe to give your teammates a better chance at winning their battles. Most importantly, you have to worry more about getting war score and citups than anything else. If you must buy an item for yourself, make sure it's a wand of speed or a mana item. And by mana item, I mean a plenor, vlemish, or hung

The most powerful characters are the most difficult to play. This sounds ... fun and emotionally pleasing but it's dangerous thing to do. For things like 2D sidescrolling fighters this might be a good thing since those games are damn hard to begin with. Eg, there was one character in a game that would attack when you pushed a button AND

I dunno - but it would be nice if Reg has something. It seems to me that reg's big thing is unpredictability: He has an unpredictable stun (which I swear is 3s, not 0.3s), invisible mines (because none of you use totems ;P ), and a mark that triggers on enemy ability use. The best he can do for damage in a burst is 4050 (which yes, is a lot, but IMO very hard to pull off). I like the depth that mines and mark offers over playing other DGs, but I don't think they reward you enough. With more d
Regulus, when played correctly, can be super annoying while racking up high damage and causing enemies to back off earlier because of snipe. I do agree, however, that he needs a significant buff, especially to angelic fury, mark of the betrayer, and perhaps some more early game hitpoints and / or armor. The real problem is that he has no ability to stun. Mark of the betrayer should become mana burn imo.
Yes, l

It's a good way to help push. Reg is just too hard for most people to play, imo. It requires advance planning, and doing well with him is prone to failure. Personally, I wish either his cooldowns were much shorter or his mines and snipes did a good bit more damage, just to really seal the deal

I don't mind the game as it is, except for healing units - they need to heal a tad less often imo, or only out of combat, or something... I like the fact it takes some work to take down things like a UB. Late-game you beat down high hp enemies using damage+lifesteal together. Damage really shines when coupled with lifesteal items - 12k for mage+nimoth's is very doable in the late game, especically if everyone is running around clearing giants.

Sniping the whole time an enemy is engaged is fine, but sniping just to harass should be avoided unless there is a clear benefit. Sniping while an ally has engaged the enemy is extremely helpful, and should be done as much as possible. Mines to push lanes is needed, but they will suck until lvl 2. Get lvl 2 mines as soon as you hit lvl 4 if you want to push a lane. Get mark at lvl 5 if mines aren't doing it on their own.
You basically have built in an axiom of sorts, kind of like how physics in essence has 'made up' the law of thermodynamics. This axiom is: "Complex, intelligent things can only be created by another intelligence". Not sure I'd call it an axiom, and either way it's not built-in.
Axiom is clearly a metaphor. You're asserting that the only way to create complex, intelligent life is to design it. That line
