1. Just like we have a button to "Clear All Planetary Focuses", can we have a button to "Clear All Planetary Projects" so that older planets can report in when there are available upgrades that need to be installed. Otherwise, we have to go planet by planet every so often to keep them up to date.
Wouldn't it be easier to just have the Planetary Notifications have a select menu that you could have

So there are a lot of newbies or even advanced players out there asking how to win or stay ahead. This is a simple tutorial of my style of play. 1. [Colonization] At the beginning of your game, the first thing you want to do is get colony ships and explore fast. First thing I do is send EVERY ship in each direction (aim for the nearest stars, as planets surround stars). - Build a cheap colony ship that you designed. Basically just a freighter with an engin
It is my belief that right now.. "Alliances" for Tech/Money/etc are one way, the offering partner doesn't receive benefit (other than diplomacy trading resource). So if Player A offers research treaty to Player B, only player B recieves the bonus. Yet you can have Player B offer Research treaty to player A to reciprocate the bonus back.
instead of creating a new thread i will add to that list 31. Auto Attack pls
I am not sure what this means, but if you mean.. while a ship/fleet is on "Sentry" duty that it will automatically attack enemy ships that are in an "at war" state with you, or Pirat
Best bet is to go Pragmatic/Benovolent. Get the +per turn buildings. Build loads. Do not put anything into Malovolent yet, just get as many planets as you can and get points for your Prag/Benov. When you can, buy the Praxis merc. Group him with a survey ship, and survey the hell out of all those ship graveyard anomolies (don't fight them early game, most AI will ignore them too until late game). In about 100 turns you will have 2 or 3 trees maxed on Malovolent. (Yo
yes, i realize there are many mods out there that do similar effects to some of these thngs, but I really don't like modding games. *** Edit *** I am updating these based on other ideas compiled in this thread and giving appropriate credit to people who either update the thread or improve on an existing idea. 1) Governor window on planet screen should be side-popped and not a new window that overlays (so you can see real time changes on). Also it
So even though Steam says it hasn't updated since 6/17, and my GC3 executable is 1.8.0.21 you are saying I have the lastest Hotfix Patches that came out AFTER 6/17? Even though.. I haven't updated at all since then? Not sure this makes sense.
Steam version is stuck at 1.8. No updates since 6/19. I have gone through Opt-In and wiped Steam Cache. Still no option for download. Is there a manual update that can be done, or can Stardock push this through the Steam Client? Does anyone know how to do this? Hotfix 1, 2 and 3 are still not available to me. Game is nearly unplayable with the lag, crashes and stuttering midway through game. Please assist. Anyone.
Quoting , quoting post The opt-in and the live version are currently the same. If you switch between them, steam won't see any difference and won't download anything.
This really doesn't answer the question... If
16GB RAM 1000GB SSD i5 4th Gen Quad Core 970gtx 26GB Paging File Size Halfway through the game, my screen will pause and I hear my fans turn on in my rig and CHUG like no tomorrow. 1 minute later, unfreezes the screen and keeps going. Memory being used is like 99% of physical memory. After this point, just moving a ship takes a 4 second pause before it moves. <p
I pretty much build 3 farms in a Triangle, then specialize every world. Homeworld is always manufacturing. First thing you do? Rush scout ships, buy merc surveyors. Rush colonizers. Get 6-8 good stable planets, then start specializing them. I don't even build a ship with weapons for hundreds of turns. I focus on culture, research and planet development. Once you have all that, building
iTs very simple. Diplomacy, Dipomacy, Diplomacy. 1. Always talk to them and assure them of your mutual friendship. 2. Discover Diplomacy Researches fast. 3. Give them gifts of credits or researches. 4. Give them tribute of credits. Do this until you have the military might to stand up to them. Then destroy them. Eventually you will get ahead in research and ships and can blow them out of the wat
It would definately be much more worth if every level they offered a 5% or 10% chance of dodging attacks or something due to them being so nimble.
Is there a current master bug list somewhere? I didn't see it, but granted I didn't spend 2 hours looking. But I did have a few issues I run into in the game: 1. Upon having custom created ships, the small icon list of fleet grouped ships sometimes still shows the old style of the ship. Makes choosing ships very difficult sometimes. 2. Having a constructor with multiple construction pods on it, when at a starbase,
