Cavan1 - I have no idea where WindowsBlinds is from. My friend gave me this laptop and WindowsBlinds was already on it when I got it. It started throwing this error a long time ago. I usually just restart afterwards (because it makes it so I can't minimize things by clicking on their taskbar buttons, which is annoying), but it's getting annoying because it's starting to do it once every two days or so. Lantec - It looks like nView isn't running, as far as I can tell. I went into MSConfig and nwiz is unchecked in the startup section, and apparently, that's nView...I didn't want to disable the other nVidia thing that I found in services, because it says "display drivers" and I don't know what effect that will have. Hankers - Er, I can't find a "system info" button when I open WindowsBlinds, but then again, whenever I open the program, it says "advanced" configuration in the title bar.

Just like the title says. I get the standard "exporer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" error Here's the event log: Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.3156, faulting module wblind.dll, version 4.5.0.0, fault address 0x0005688e.
