There is a tl;dr. Hello, I am a Sins player from long ago, years ago, since the original release of the original sins! BUT thanks to the Steam sale, I bought Rebellion. To the point! I played Demigod, and we made a lot of mistakes building a player base. As someone who wants a player base to play with, I've got some suggestions; take them or leave them. (Lists are always the most creative way to post) 1. First, if you want to help new players, BE NICE.

Hello hello all, I haven't been on the forums in... well... years, and honestly, this may be a rather, hm, nit picky post. Just to set the record straight, as a P2P game, the original issues in Demigod connectivity were on GPG's end with the insane amount of bandwidth the connections required. Stardock worked day in and out (or posted that much?) with GPG to get the connection issues solved. Also, the absolute lack of patches for the game in terms of balance (for goodness sake, health
but seriously its hard to pull off against good players but it does have its rewards.
Im sure it does but there are some guys out there who play the same minion build every time does the same thing every game and its just getting very boring and annoying. And we usually beat them but still its annoying early game.
Were you around before HoB got nerfed? I can't remember... but

there's a ton of background conversation from my parents... else I would... actually it might be a spring break project to see if I can separate out Ninki's distinctively high pitched voice and amplify it... Also, if you guys have some games of dg going hit me up with a pm on vent, I'd like to play but these days I rarely have time to sit in a lobby for 40 + min

back as in on the forums... I might be "back" as in playing dg... We'll see Edit: if you haven't noticed I'm almost always on vent. Every weekend and almost every day, pop in and say hi if you want to Ninki (I still have that recording of you singing poker face btw)
I believe he already has my code, it's on the first page. A zerg strat I learned watching a replay of an "Insane" AI vs. me was to build a spare hatchery just below the main (with no drones collecting resources, only to spawn larva) and crank out roaches. I lost in under 10 minutes while still building my creep highway to my second hatchery. Solid strat. - Othello
If you want to learn Zerg, I'm afraid I'm not the person to help you :P Toss

The practice league is a joke... I just watched a few pro replays and then out macro my opponents and battlecruiser rush... or warp in massive numbers of DT's kinda depressing actually

Well, if one of your biggest issues was the idiots on mp, you should get on vent (that is if you still want to play) as of now we have nightly games of DG and people are actually, dare I say it, polite?

While what most of what has been posted here is true... I don't see alot of the people here who are commenting on balance and map viability actually playing Demigod consistently. And as Hedgie is saying, DG is balanced. My 2 cents
That aside, the campaign is incredibly well done. The missions I've seen so far are very varied, much more so than "build base, kill other base". There are cutscenes and interactions between the major characters after every mission, as well as interactive "screens" not unlike point-and-click adventure games (for example, there's a bar with interactable objects you can click on - Jukebox to change music, TV to watch news about your previous mission, pictures to reminiss about the past,
